It’s probably something like Chris jones said a few answers back . Nothing to do with Siri being psychic, probably voice recognition and the location of the number I was talking to and maybe because I do go over there a fair bit . Either way there was nothing dodgy happening over there , I just didn’t realise how easy it was to give your location away even though you have most location settings turned off
-
No not yet , I’ll give it a go tomorrow. I have changed some settings though
-
No , the conversation was basically - him, what are you upto tomorrow , me , I’m busy tomorrow I’ll nip over Wednesday morning , him , no worries see you then . That was it . After w katchum put his screen shot up I checked my settings and found that it tells you which apps had been active in the last 24hrs and the maps had been even though I’d not used it . It could be because I’ve got Siri as voice activated and it’s a location I go regularly .

There must be some location settings I’ve missed somewhere , i thought I only had them enabled for the weather app . I’ll go through them and and disable it if I can see which one it is

How would it know I was going to sandfield road though . I haven't put his address in my contacts and I’ve only put his first name in the contacts aswell and neither of us mentioned it during the call , all I said was I’d nip over this morning . The only time I’ve used his address on my phone was when I used WhatsApp to send it to another mate earlier on this year

Absolutely no idea hence the original post . It was Apple maps on my iPhone not google maps and it’s one of them widgets that are on the screen when you swipe right off the home page . What’s even more confusing is how it knew the person I was talking to lives on sanfield road
-
They must have listened to the phone call because that was the only way it could have known I was going there this morning. I’ve not used any apps to find the address or searched on google because I already know him and where he lives , all I did was say to him I’d nip over this morning while I was on the phone to him on Monday night . Whether it’s interesting to them or not is neither here nor there , the only mention of me going over today was during an actual private phone call , not a text or email or any other app where I’d be typing stuff in

I spoke to my mate on the phone on Monday night and told him I’d go over this morning . Just about to set off and I thought I’d check the Apple news bit on my phone before I go and clocked this underneath the weather . How would Apple maps know I was going there this morning without monitoring the phone call , it’s not like I used the app to find his house because I know where he lives . Is there a legit reason this would happen or do I need to get the tinfoil out

He was the same in there and I don’t really know why he was in the dispersal system in the first place because even though he shot that bloke he wasn’t like the rest of the people in there . Do you know if he ever got out

I was in frankland with him . He painted a big A on his door and wouldn’t accept being cat b’d for some reason , no idea why he did it though

I’ve got a mate like that with grayling . I’ve taken him to to places full of them and let him work through the swims first and he’s just caught trout and I’ll follow him down and catch grayling from the same place he’s just been . He came down to watch me one day last year and was telling me he’d tried the pink f-flies I’d told him to try and not caught , I had a couple of grayling on them while he was telling me that . I let him have a go and he couldn’t get one but as soon as I got the rod back I started catching them again . Don’t know why that happens , think it was Keith Arthur or Des Ta

Boilies come in freezer bait that need to be kept in the freezer or air dried to stop them going off or shelf life which usually have a preservative in them to stop them going off and are the ones you see in most shops amongst the pellets and groundbait and they are the ones that most people use because of the convenance . It used to be that freezer bait was better but today’s shelf life’s are a lot better quality than they used to be so there’s not much difference now . Your pellets should be fine unless they’ve been gotten damp

You’re pretty much doing it right but I wouldn’t catapult them out because you won’t know where they are ending up and you could be taking the fish away from you . The woodcutters stretch you fished above the bridge is not one I’ve fished much but the bailiff goes in my mates shop so I’ll ask him to find out any info on it . I regularly fish the stretch between the woodcutters and ribchester stretch though and also magdell bank opposite the ribchester stretch and catch on the methods I mentioned . If the robin reds are not working have a go with the code reds or hybrid depending on whether you

It’s pretty shallow where you are fishing there and it’s mainly the game lads you see on that side of the bridge . The free section behind the golf course is a better bet and you can tell when it’s fishing because there will be cars parked on halfpenny bridge . Have you tried the day ticket stretch on ribchester front . You can get day tickets from the spar . If you do go there , don’t go on the grass bank below the tush pool on the front , it’s about a million foot deep with boulders the size of cars and you’ll struggle to hold bottom and when you do it will probably be because it’s snagged .

An h reg 1.3 metro , think it was a clubman . It was my grandads car ran it for a year and got rid
-
Funny you should say that , I was over at my mates earlier and we both mentioned the same thing with soccer Saturday on sky when they were doing outside reports , it seemed like it was women doing most of the reports
-
I use these most of the time now . The little dime is an edc but because the suspension has a locking blade I only use it while I’m out with the dogs or fishing . They are not bad , maybe not quite leatherman quality but good enough for what I want and they are not that expensive .

Woodcutters isnt a stretch ive fished a lot but ive seen plenty of starlights down towards the bridge when ive been driving over . My mate fished it a few times last year and had them to 11.15 on code red boilies
-
Is it the woodcutters farm stretch upstream of the bridge

Just sat in a car park waiting for the Mrs and a woman just tried parking in the spot at the side of me in a new car and I can’t believe what’s she’s done . She came in at a stupid angle and left the front drivers side of the car over the line into the next bay and the back of the car about 3inch from my bumper and also hit a lamppost that was in front of the bay . She never even checked to see if there was any damage . Ive moved my car out the way before she hit that aswell

This place has some sensas spares https://www.nathansofderby.com/sensas-spare-sections.ir

If you get the Wigan or St. Helens ticket for elston and go on the bottom farm my favourite 2 pegs on that stretch were off the shingle bank at the start of the redscar woods , casting downstream and also below the pipes 2 fields to the left from where you park , fish the near channel straight across from the farm on the other bank .

Its been looking horrible down there recently . Have you looked at the free stretch below half penny bridge , its the bit that backs on to the golf course . Theres some fast water at the top of the stretch that might be a better bet if you go again
-
Which stretch are you going on . There’s a few been coming out lately . The robin red will catch but i never use groundbait on there , probably will work but it’s not necessary so I don’t carry it . The 3 baits I use on the ribble are mainline hybrid , sonubaits code red and dynamite robin red , I’ve had a lot of barbel on them over the years and all I do is hair rig a boilie and either put 2 crushed and 2 full boilies in some pva mesh if I’m using straight lead or wet some 4mm pellets to make them sticky and put them in a 3-4oz korum river feeder . My mainline is 12lb with about 18inch of 12l
