  6. Old man is not so good mate tbh. JB you need to save a few days hols for late in the year! Bouncer will always make me smile, he always smiles! but i have enough with the dweeb of a russel! Send our best wishes for your father mate I did have holidays booked to get out but somebody decided to have a stroke LOL From november until January we aren't allowed any holidays as the rota is suspended. I'm gonna try and get up on the permissions on my single days off just to get familiarised with the lay of the land, probably with no ferrets or gun so I can have a proper mooch,
  7. just put my hand in a packet of jelly babies and the little black one robbed my watch !!

  8. thank youre mother for the rabbits !!!

  11. i'm going to take my bucket and spade the next time to build sandcastles i nearly choked on my fecking cuppa there. well done lads,a few in the bag .the rabbits have a chance to be going about in rowing boats with all the rain weve had.i still say you need to take my dog with you to mop up some of those runners, hes getting a bit bored with chasing the wildlife on the telly now
  12. i would have shot him an extra hole in his ass and laughed at him very loudly afterwards ,i bet the dick would have thought twice about doing it again
  13. well i must say ,those rabbits were waxers.they are the biggest ive seen in a long while, and i even managed to get that black one that looks as though it managed to find its way out of someones cage during the summer along with its partner .im now looking forward to getting up there with the lad and the dog.il show john how to run a dog and not smash a long net to bits, and il be doing it from the comfort of his van
  14. well done on the black rabbit lad.its the first one any of us has had.leave bouncer at home next time john .he was not used to that longnet and probably decided to act himself more than usual because his patners in crime were not there.i cannot wait to get back on there now,if the rabbits are sitting out on the 100 acre bit we should get some more with the aid of toby.he will also come in handy if they are chucking the nets off.well done lads
  15. get stuck in lads .im a bit sick i still cannot get out myself but weve got a good lad filling my spot for the time being.i hope his arms and back are up to the job though youse should bag a few out of those big setts, especially the one down by the river if last year was anything to go by.and theres a few smaller ones for back up.my offer of a loan of the dog is still there john, just let me know.he has finished digging rats out of the garden and has been in the bath .all the best for tomorrow lads
  16. hi the mk1 are the best box outthere if you want to sell yours let me no cheers There's no way on this earth the mk1 is better than the mk3, only people who say that are those scared of technology or can't get their head round the search and locate functions of the mk3, it's like saying fred flintstones car is better than a ferrari fred flintstones motor is better than a ferrari.it just depends what sneakers youre wearing at the time hahaha.i prefer my old mk1 knocker box until it gives up.
  17. somewhere like that andy im going to have to break her in gently before i get her to push me round the woods

  20. well, ive decided to give into temptation and go ferreting next week .im really looking forward to this trip as im still in my wheelchair.my girlfriend has agreed to take me,little does she know but if we do manage to get a rabbit she will have to gut it .im only working one ferret and will be running both my dogs at any rabbits that bolt.
  21. good old bouncer .i use lurchers for my ferreting/marking work.i have a 9month old pup that was learning the trade very well until illness has put a block on me training the pup further .i retired my old dog off last season at the ripe old age of 12.she was a very good rabbit dog in her day and had a good nose on her.she used to love her trips away with bouncer.they made a very good team, they both marked setts very well and especially liked marking rabbits in the stone walls.i used to like this aswell as my arms are only skinny so i used to get most of the jobs of extracting them which used
  22. been lookng at one of these guns on the web and im considerng buying one. would prefer it with the olympus thumb hole stock but it is not essental.what m wonderng s,whats its over all performance lke.are these heavy guns compared to guns of years gone by. ect.at resent use a webley tracker for my shootng.it still takes rabbits, and other game but its an old gun and think im due for an upgrade ,and the tracker can be passed down to my eldest son.any reviews on the evo would be much apprecated.
  23. nice going brimmer .im hoping to be back at it by november.the physio's are workng me lke a dog and im makng good progress for it.until then im having to hone the pups sklls on our lasses two moggies so she is not ammused to say the least.all the best mate, col
  24. one of my ferrets had five on its neck last yearand had never been entered in a rabbit warren that seaon.im guessing it had picked them up off one of the rabbits tat had been put in for it.i borrowed john's tick twister and they were off in seconds.these tools are well worth investing in and are worth every penny.
  25. well,my little burglar friends came back and had another go ad stealing my ferrets early this mornimg.they have smashed some of the door frame where they had tried before, but luckily they still didnt manage to get in.i heard them about 4.15 as i have to sleep downstairs because of me recovering after a stroke.i managed to get to the window but i didnt see anyone there.i will hopefully be out of this wheel chair within the next few weeks and ten i can get my security tightened up on the shed.
