  1. Morning everyone, The Friday,Saturday and Sunday just gone I was fortunate to be under the tuition of Phil(Pegandgun) from this site. Those of you that know anything about snaring and trapping know that you would be hard pushed to find anyone with more experience than this man.   5. Morning, When using snares for squirrels what sort of system do you guys use for tealers or hoops etc? Or do you find the best way is to tie/wrap the wire to the the running pole itself?I've read and re-read mr waters pinned article,just thinking of trying new ideas or ways etc. Any descriptions or pictures would be most appreciated.   9. Thanks for all the replys lads, think the fenns in tunnels is the way I'm going to go. With the peanut butter etc is it enough to just put it on the plate or do I need a lot more than this to attract/entice them? Cheers
  10. Do not use creasote mate it's strong smelling it'll keep animals away for months. Cuprinol is fine though

  12. Morning Everyone I've been asked to reduce the numbers in a friends wood, what do you guys think would be the most efficient way of using the traps? I was thinking maybe popping the fenns in a bucket of wheat etc cutting a hole in the lid and then putting the bucket up in the tree? Would this Be ideal do you think? Or I was thinking snaring?   16. I always try to make sure the joining knot is on the edge of the net, rather than in the middle. One because it looks neater and second if your joining not fails and slips etc I would rather have it on the edge than in the middle of the net. Tony

  19. Thankyou for the link Ian, I noticed it says its galvanised high tensile. Is this the company/type of wire thay you use or will I have trouble bending it? Many thanks
