Morning everyone, The Friday,Saturday and Sunday just gone I was fortunate to be under the tuition of Phil(Pegandgun) from this site. Those of you that know anything about snaring and trapping know that you would be hard pushed to find anyone with more experience than this man. On the Friday I arrived at p@g place, excited but as you would expect a little nervous but was soon relaxed and having a cuppa, p@g was asking what knowledge etc I had of snaring etc and after checking my snares etc that I had in the boot it was time for the off. Morning, When using snares for squirrels what sort of system do you guys use for tealers or hoops etc? Or do you find the best way is to tie/wrap the wire to the the running pole itself?I've read and re-read mr waters pinned article,just thinking of trying new ideas or ways etc. Any descriptions or pictures would be most appreciated. Thanks for all the replys lads, think the fenns in tunnels is the way I'm going to go. With the peanut butter etc is it enough to just put it on the plate or do I need a lot more than this to attract/entice them? Cheers

Do not use creasote mate it's strong smelling it'll keep animals away for months. Cuprinol is fine though
