  1. Yeah hes got something going for him then.
  2. Who annoys you the most on tv. My choices are No1 BILL ODDIE No2 KATIE PRICE AKA JORDAN No3 GORDON RAMSEY. How about you
  3. How many of you take the kids on your ferreting, mooching, shooting, fishing, or whatever trips you like. Like a lot of you ive seen so many changes to fieldsports, and unfortunately not for the better. Gone are the days when you could get up and go to a properly organised coursing meet, thats one of the biggest piss offs in my life. Nowadays were often accompanied by my mates sons aged 3 and 4 not always the perfect solution, but i see it as a way of protecting the future of what sport we have got left. Ive drawn the line at taking my 2 year old grandson just yet, setting nets and changing na
  4. Anyone read the article in CMW this week regarding catapults by the warrener. Apparently his mate can flick a coin into the air and shoot it before it hits the ground, now that i would love to see, not on video but in real life. Sounds like a john wayne western, when they used to flick a coin and shoot it with a 45 that most people couldnt hit a barn door with. OK sell your crappy vids but get real, and dont keep bullshitting those guys that have used them your fooling nobody.
  5. Know the ground your running on. Minimise the risks, but there is always danger, as for me i will always slip only one dog at a time seen to many injuries when running more than one dog,
  6. SUSAN BOYLE WHAT DO YOU RECKON CLASS ACT OR WHAT
  7. Hull city but were goin down in flames
  8. Butter or marg what a bunch of tits you lot are, they both give me the squirts. Good job ive got a pet hedgehog to wipe my arse on.
  9. Talking to a guy at selby game fair, he had a lurcher with him that had lost its tail in an accident. When i asked him if it had affected its running ability, he said at first it used to run a bit wider on the turn, but it started to anticipate when its quarry would turn and would cut in for the kill. He reckoned it had probably made it a better dog. Now it made me remember a mates dog nearly 30 years ago that smashed its front leg coursing a hare. Anyway part of its leg had to be amputated, and we thought that was the end of its career. Prior to this it was a first class lurcher, whippet grey
  10. SORRY FAULT ON PC CHECK OUT DYLAN KNOPFLER LICENCE TO KILL ON YOUTUBE FOR SOME REASON MINE WONT UPLOAD
  11. Gamefair season is now upon us so what do you like to see best of all, is it lure coursing, terriers, or lurcher shows, main ring events, equestrian events, just mooching round trade stalls, or catching up with old mates in the beer tent, and trying to outbullshit each other. One of my favourite things is people watching, i just love to see the army of oaktree clad hunters, harris tweed keepertypes parading round sweating their nuts off in 90 degree temperatures, what the hell is that all about. Mind you its a prettier sight than a kilt clad scotsman parading round selby show with red knees in
  12. Bunch of daft lads, walking big open land after the big bunnies, aint legal antis will have a field day.
  13. GATES OF EDEN, TANGLED UP IN BLUE, JACK OF HEARTS, TOO MANY TO NAME, AND A THOUSAND MILES BEHIND WITH JOHNNY CASH.
  14. Had this lamp years never had a single problem with it, ive never seen anyone else use one any of you guys got one, and how do you rate them.
  15. Got loads round here will send you some
  16. Talking with a mate ,conversation went on to things we remembered as kids, what happened to spud guns, peashooters, dare i say it (black sambo chewing gum) what do you remember that you dont see now. :search:
  17. Seen the same thing at an old country house in yorks. Turned out a previous occupant was a master of foxhounds, and buried his hunters and favourite foxhounds there, certainly makes you wonder about them.
  18. Had beddy crosses, pure whippets, now got a second cross saluki whippet. Would say the beddy was the best marker, nose like a bloodhound, hard as nails. Pure whippet was spot on on rabbits and could take hare. My saluki cross is great on daytime rabbits, great ferreting dogs all of them, and brill on the lamp. As for shivery little things what bollox, its probably nervous tension that makes them quiver, there always keyed up to do whats asked of them, and will give 110% in the field. Yeah im a great fan of these little warriors, dont knock them if youve never owned one.
  19. If it was scotland could be SAWNEY BEAN
  20. SPOT ON MATE MY POINT EXACTLY
  21. Cant set foot on a site in this neck of the woods without producing your cscs card. So how many of immigrant workers actually posses one. Never thought i would see the day when you had to pay for a card that is basically just a permit to work. When i worked in europe i never encountered this sort of crap, if you were no good at your job you were out on your arse. Before anyone asks yes i do have one. :protest:
  22. Mine was taken in a similar vein, blucher was a poachers dog that once fought a keeper letting his owner escape. Many years ago i had a bit of a set to with an underkeeper that wasnt too keen on me. Incidentally did you know CHEVY CHASE took the name from a particularly violent poaching incident. That turned into a full scale battle with 1427 english and 1947 scots killed. AHH DONT YOU MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS.
  23. My lurcher has developed a small red spot on its hind leg, now ive been told its a hot spot which i believe is a form of dermatites, have you guys any experience of this, and what possible treatment is there. CHEERS.
