hi all, i have been thinking for some time about starting a bird house. i would like to breed mules if possible but as i say i am a complete beginner. i have just got the housing setup and i was gonna add a caged flight. will i need one or not? i am after any advice on setting up and an idea of how many pairs i could keep. my housing i 8ft x 10ft. it is insulated but has no electric to it yet. my mate is an electrician so not a problem. What sort of cost am i looking at to set up breeding? have kept birds such as parrots and budgies so i know about care and diets. anyone help? cheers

hi there quick question for u all. after reading the popular falconry books. how much time would i need to put aside for a bird of prey. i am interested in getting a harris hawk for mainly rabbits and the odd hare. i have hunted for years with guns,dogs,ferrets and then packed it all in for due to family commitments. i would like to start over and would really like to fly a harris hawk. i work 5 days a week sometimes saturday too. 8-5pm . i have enough room for aivary and can afford the vet expense if harris got ill. any advice.

just had a call from my permission telling me terrier lads after badgers were caught by police last night on my permission and now farmer doesnt want anyone at all hunting on there. i have only ever shot bunnies on there and never had any upset with him he just said he wants no one on. im gutted as it was my only shoot do know what to do now. might have to pack it all in

for the cheapest traps to make get some card roll it into a cone. paint inside contact glue or carpet high tack glue when its nearly gone off put some sweetcorn or feed on the glue so they stick to it. tie it to a piece of string and repeat it til you have a line of about 5. bring them to your local pheasant haunt and line them out in cover away from prying eyes. stake the end with a bar or branch. throw a handful of feed around them and return in a few hours to 5 live pheasants sat there waiting with paper cones stuck to their heads. works best late afternoon. dont let keeper catch you. and t

go to tesco around 7.30-8pm and buy up the tin loafs (unsliced). bring it to your chosen spot and stake it to the ground with a threaded bar or similar. ratty will do his best to be off with it which gives you plenty of time to line up a shot. i shot 70 rats over a weekend on a local fishery to me using this method. the rats seem to forget the danger factor whilst thinking how to drag it off. hope this helps. if you need the aroma you could soak the top of the loaf in a nut oil

no. its the 2wd. but found out yesterday that if you put the rear leaf springs on top of the back axil instead of underneath it raises the body nearly 3 inches. longer shocks on front and then put bigger wheels with bigger tyres. because there is so much traction you would never get stuck anyway. i have this off a friend who is a 4x4 enthusiast.

find your local carp fishing forum and find the tackle for sale section. you will get 2 rod and 3 rod complete setups for £300-£400 i bought something similar last year. i got 2 rods 2 big pit reels tackle box with about £300 of tackle braid leads etc armo bivvy bed cooking gear even stove all luggage bait landing net alarms pod and everything else to go straight to the bank. i paid £400 because someone was quitting the sport. you will get some absolute bargains. DONT GET IT FROM THE TACKLE SHOPS you will lose £££ if it aint for you

white ford ranger super cab 2.5 turbo. seats 5 98,000 miles on clock. just had head gasket done head was skimmed and vacuum tested and passed with flying colours and bottom block was changed. new water pump.(had a serious overheating problem and changed the lot) so brand new engine. the new block is off a 2006 ranger that had done 46,000 miles. bodywork is fine with the odd scratch through age (53 plate) interior iss immaculate apart from the usual tear in the drivers seat which is un noticeable. power steering elec windows and elec mirrors. tax til end of november and same
