thanks all for great comments, i not sure if this would fit the s200. maybe grim would know. i was hoping some people on here would give me an idea as to value for this stock if i decide ta sell .

as grim said it is american black walut and after hunting through a lot of timber finally picked a piece, after seeing what,s on offer i would be wary about purchasing a bit without inspecting it first so you can pick a nice grained piece, the stock is now oiled and back together and cant wait ta give it a try, looks great ta me. i will be making another one soon as i got the bug now, plans already being drawn up so i may sell this one if all goes well , any offers

have a go mate, very rewarding when you see it taking shape, i,m on me 3rd coat of oil now, cant wait ta finish so can start on another, another quick pic ta show how it going and the off cut from stock end ta show transformation from what looks like an old crap bit a wood ,

thanks mate. i used a standard stock as a rough template then just changed a few bits to how i would like it and then made a proper template from a piece of ply with moveable hand grip and moveable cheeck piece and kept moving them until it felt right, it all fits like a glove and i found it fits me better then standard stock being an inch shorter and higher cheek piece , i think it important that this is the way to go before making one ta make sure it fits you , thanks for great comments

good project ta keep ya busy mate. i used a router, various rasps and files and also what they call a riffler set , like small rasps , very handy for doing detailed work. basic tools realy, invested in a bandsaw now so that should be easier for me next one, got another cracking bit of walnut so thinking up ideas as we speak, def got the bug for it now. put another coat of oil on today after rubbing out small imperfections, looking better all the time, more pics up soon when complete with action. thanks

looks good with the action on, fits me like a glove, thanks ta grim helping me with measurements so it fits me, i think it took me about 20 hours ta get this far with it, enjoyed it so much i think i found a new hobby, will put up some pics when fully oiled with the action on, would recommend to have a go yaself , very rewarding when ya see it all coming together, will shortly be making another as have another piece of walnut , wanna try one with wooden trigger guard built in.

hia all, just thought i would share my first stock making project with you all for my aa s 410 , managed to get hold of a lovely bit of american black walnut enought to make 2 stocks and this is my first attempt, just put the sanding sealer on and had one coat of oil so loads a coats ta go yet, thanks ta grim for ya help and guidance on this mate , made it a bit easier for me , enjoyed doing this so much will be starting the second one after this one is oiled up, will put a few more pics up when fully oiled , hope the pics work,

would also consider mk1 , anybody got one, this is a good setup of carp gear. lot,s a stuff not even listed hard to sell carp tackle on here pal and get a decent price or swap for it anyway!! i gave up in end and sold it on ebay!! u got alot of good stuff there if it fails here give the ebay ago. i know its all about giving our fellow hunters a good deal but half of em waqnt it for nothing!! good luck with sale pal. thinking about swapping all my carp gear for a rapid setup, i have 3 greys prodigy rods 3 shimano baitrunners fox x pod plus with 3 fox mmx alarms complete with fox digital souder box 3 fox illuminated swingers and 3 fox backleads reuben scales brand new trakker bivvy cost me £180. still in wrapper, never used 2 coleman stoves , one unleaded and one gas landing nets, weigh slings, unhooking matt chair , bedchair, slleping bag shimano big pit reel loads a small items and a couple a fox system boxes full of terminal tackle there is too much to list , if anyone has a good rapid s

yes always, only leave a shooting window at the front, from say from ten too two, thats presuming your killing area is at 12 thanks for the tip, think our hide building needs looking at . pigeons are realy hitting the rape now. will try again.

i have a fox easydome bivvy, used and a bit dirty but good condition built in groundsheet £50 and a fox pod plus with 3 fox mmx bite alarms fox illuminated swingers and fox back leads and leeds for sounder box but no sounder box £150. have some other bits , couple of fox rods, spod and marker rod £20 each or may swap , after a good lamp maybe consider other items, what u got ,

we were in a bale hide, pigeons deinately feeding on here, sometimes landing few hundred metres away from us, bale hides been out a few weeks, when shooting from bale hide , do people still put a net over to cover some of top, first time i shot from bale hide

i was right under the flight line, hundreds of birds overhead all day with no interest no matter what we tried, maybe there getting wise to the decoys, anyone got any tips i could try to pull em down , tried rotary, no rotary, flappers, no flappers. got 2 chris green floaters. still not interested.

i have a xpod plus with 3 fox micron mmx alarms ,3 fox illuminated swingers, 3 fox back leads, i have the leads to connect to a sounder box but no sounder would cost well in excess of £290 to buy , willing to take £150 and fox easydome bivvy with built in grounsheet nice bivvy but just a bit dirty £50 or maybe swap for lamp, gun mounted and bipod with cash either way or maybe something else, what u got.
