  4. Great story, and a great ending, welldone.
  5. Here's my Bull x, 21 inches, 100 lbs. hahahahahahaha The joke might have been funny if it'd let me put my pic up, oh well.
  6. That's a v good reply and what I think a terrier should be Cheers mate
  7. If your finding that the dogs your rearing aren't doing the job, then i think you should take a look at yourself, rather than blaming the dog. To me the most important thing is forming a bond between myself and the dog, to work as a pack. How could you possibly do this? You own a dog 5 minutes, get bored of it and move onto the next dog. What happens to these dogs when you get bored of them?
  8. This bloke was an expert at what???? Talking shit by the sounds of it!! Like the lads are saying, put the time into the dog and it'll do anything you want it to do.
  9. I give my pups minced meat, e.g chicken, lamb or beef. Cheap fish, like sardines, pilchards etc. Of course goats milk, mine like rice pudding too. Warm weetabix with goats milk. Of course beef bones from the butchers, the list really is endless. I usually mix any one of these with kibble, i use chicken and vegetable. Anything is cheaper than Chicken fillets!!!! haha
  10. A Plummer lurcher my dad got from Brian in the 90's called Polly. Daughter of Fathom 2 i think. She was a very intelligent bitch, very knowing. A great ferreting dog. Never bred from her though, bit of a shame. Kizzy and Polly
  11. A Chicken cross Pheasant?
  12. If it's not on your land, then leave it be. Pooring Diesel down the hole is a f****n stupid thing to do, we should be looking after the countryside, not f****n polluting it. You should learn to respect the places where you wish to hunt. This type of behaviour gives countrysports a bad name.
  13. A nice lookin pup , it's gonna be fast, alot of sighthound blood in there.
  14. If you want a litter of 3/4, go to someone who already has a proven 1st cross stud. You shouldn't produce 1st crosses if you never intend on working them. What do you intend on doing with the 1st cross when you have produced the 3/4 litter? To me, every dog you produce should be fully appreciated, the first cross should be worked and used just as often as the 3/4's.
  15. He's nice, i'd like to see how he turns out.
  16. What are you on! There are some amazing Staffies out there, with everything needed to add to the Bullx. The American Bulldog, from working lines is another breed thats ideal to be crossed with the Greyhound. The EBT has been crossed with sighthounds for decades in Australia to create a top hunting dog. There is a great deal of variation with the APBT, while some specimens would be ideal, i wouldn't say that every APBT is much more suited than these other Bull breeds to be used to create the Bull x.
  17. An interesting link: Rhodesian Ridgeback, hunting information.
