Earth are you charging admission to your show? as these restrictions will apply no matter how good a cause its in aid of Y.I.S Leeview Some shows judge them outside the showground , others just dont bother !

    Coursing greyhounds bred from proper coursing lines such as Hilltown etc , are usually alot heavier , up in the 80lb region sometimes , and their feet are more robust than finer bred track greyhounds .

    When are these gamefair promoters going to realise that people are now keeping away from these events . Silly gate prices , to walk around a glorified car boot , extortionate food prices , and as for lurcher and terrier owners , we have to pay in , then pay again to show or race your dog , and this is part of the show for non dog owners to watch !!! .Then , certain show organisers refuse to even have a docked terrier near the ring , which seems to me to say , working dogs , do we really want them ?     Im so happy to see my taxes are being well spent again and even happier to see that farmers who we have marched round London in sympathy with due to the way Labour have treated them and supposedly been in unison with are still grassing us up !!!     Hes out of Top Honcho whose been top stud dog for a good while , was top grade / minor open class on some good tracks , eg . Coventry , Walthomstow then i think he ran on the independants for Dave Sleight , seems to have alot of early pace , some lads favour more of a staying type dog to use but i would think he would be ok to use . Go on Greyhound Data , dog search section and see what you think .

    I see this thread has turned into the usual - its my way or no way - that most things do on here so im signing off , but would just like to say , these dogs that only chase when you tell them that some of the superiour dogmen seem to have!!!, well i must have it wrong , as i would do yourselves a favour and trade him in !!!!

    coming from a bloke who freely admits one of his dogs is shite,you do it your way mate ill do it mine,no they dont only get road walked,they get all the free running they need,just not in areas infested with rabbits,and as for situations they come across,once im in the field surrounded by a hedge,they only need to know one thing,catch the bunny, So would you keep a dog away from the countryside?? were would you walk a dog that some thing might not make it run even the parks are full of squirrels do you implement keeping it on a lead till its ready to lamp.
