    i run 3/4 1/4 bull and they wouldnt suit for day time hares might get the first provideing it with in 10 turns Ithink the bull puts in a differant type of stamina , more of a , shall we say street fighter , up close and personal , stamina along with prey drive , as opposed to the saluki who gives the stamina to run long courses .

    Ive a bitch here nearly 12mths, 28tts , 80lb , shes 5/8 gry x 1/8 x 1/4 bull , her parents were roughly same size , i think the dash of saluki adds good height and length to the mix , stamina , and even more prey drive , especially pre ban , ideal for deer ! look on Mr Poachs gallery to see parents and what i mean . this is the sier.... and dam has the saluki in .....     who me? i no they where bought buy his dad theres only 2 people who stick up for taffy, thats taffy and suburu whatever who is taffy,lol I speak as i find , and ive got a 15mth old dog out of flos last litter and the dogs pace is tremendous , good kenneller , recall etc , if he was crap i would be the first to say . Also to all those that were going to buy a pup out of the next litter , they are all spoken for anyway . nice one mate sounds nothing speciel all my dogs are quiet in the kennel and a pleasure to own, i think you'll find most lurchers are the same brought up cor

    I managed to get some Benzo last week , £4.40 for 500ml , best to go to small independant chemists as the large chains dont stock it , if asked tell them your kids got scabies .

    He judged it a couple of years ago , Iwas told hes a vet , he judged it like a pedigree show , he didnt like the scars in the bullx class that day eithor !!! Cant imagine he lamps out the subaru often can you ?

    All ground was fine for him , as long as something needed killing on it !! Not saying it will happen but , have heard that the sire and a couple of the litter had to be pts as older dogs as they became dog killers , the urge to kill in hound crosses is very strong and you need to be very switched on with them .

    Thats right Ray , he was welsh hound bull gry x bull gry , never had a dog who killed so cliniclly . Used to shake them once , sometimes they were dead on impact , then he would drop them and walk away ! . He was 27tts , head like a bucket , immense jaw , never hunted up on lamp , but in day i saw him run stuff into a wood , out again and kill it . He once chased a rabbitt out a field and came back with a fox - over a 5 bar gate !!!!     I worked in Newcastle for 3 mths , best nightlife in the country !!! Ended up in Wallsend at a teachers house one night , she even paid for the taxi , lent me some of her husbands clothes , who was away on the rigs , and dropped me off on site next day !!!! A proper canny lass !!!!

    This thread has turned into utter bollox !!! The top bloodlines need to be used in anything , dogs , horses , pigeons etc if you wish to produce quality , even then its not a cert , but these lines are not PURE in bullxs as over time they have been diluted down by breeding to crap bitches . Its shite people coming on here ans saying "Billy was crap , Golly was crap " when they werent , but there lines , watered down probably are . Its no coincidence that its the same stud farms that breed champion racehorses or the same kennels that breed greyhound Derby winners , as they constantly go back to

    If I let my dogs roam the streets theyd be picked up by the council , yet inner city councils let these disease ridden foxes wander around being fed by nutty , sandal wearing veggies !!!! They should employ pest controllers to cull them and do something usefull with my council tax !!!!

    A couple of years ago the council came to my house and said someone had reported " a man with 2 greyhounds - actually 2 bullxs- was letting the dogs foul on the paths " . I told him i doubt it as we dont walk them in the streets due to cats etc , end of story .     Ive had 3 now , first one jacked on a hare , second one was so stubborn and stupid that i just couldnt bond with , although i admit to not being the most patient of people ! Now ive got a brother to Taffybulls red dog , 14mth old , and hes the most eager to please dog ive ever had .He retrieves , good recall , good kenneller , grubber ,so as JD says its all about getting the right one .

    Few years ago i had a bull gry x whip gry , what a looker, he won show after show , but when i started to work him he was a bag of nerves , when out lamping if i closed a gate behind him he would squel out and cower !!! I cant work with a dog thats not bold - due to the land i hunt - if you know what i mean - so he had to go !!!!
