Within the next few weeks i hope to be moving Sussex. Where I am at the moment i can get a hold of poultry from people who keep a few hens in thier back garden, so now i am look to see if i can get ahold of the same sort of thing in sussex

Last year I had one litter and the jill decided to have her kits in my bed If anyone is interested and they want their jills taken out of season we meet somewhere close to me for a donation or a couple of rabbits they can use my vasectomised hob

I notice that no one has mentioned heartworm, a few years back all you could read on sites was the fact that letting ferrets eat slugs would lead to ferrets getting heartworm.

Cut a hole in the wire to put the nozzel through, then you have to do a bit of jigerling about and faster the holder on with a bit of wire as the yellow disk tends to come off and the ferrets love playing with it.

the new ferret has to be a colour that friends who borrow him can just call over and pick up the right ferret, if I am not in. Knowing my partners sense of humour they would end up taking one of the entire hobs home.

I want to get name tags for all my ferrets, has anyone got any ideas about where I can buy cheap tags as I need 20 and I am on a fixed low income.

I am still looking for a free white hob to get vasectomised, got to be white as all my other ferrets are for breeding and are polecat or silver, so the new ferret has to be a colour that friends who borrow him can just call over and pick up the right ferret.

Hey I got such a rollicking from some of the members of that group for offering to share my vasctomised hob with people and it was made quite plain that the spread of sexually transmitted diseases was down to people like me sharing hobs, double standards or what?

Anyone got an Albino hob adult or kit looking for a new home. My vasectomised hob has just died age 12 yrs, so i am looking for an albino hob to replace him

Kit with more toes is not that odd, even humans have been born with the same condition.

None of mine go before they are 12 weeks old. This year three kits are going to Finland, Norway and the USA.

I sent some ferrets to Norway last year 2oo6 with their own passports, each country requires diffrent vacinations to be carried out befor they will allow ferrets into their country, one is for rabies which has to be done 12 weeks before traveling

I have my own shredder, which i put junk mail in, yellow pages, telephone books, newspapers and it is all used for rabbit, ferret and dog bedding.

I am looking for some kits, Silver hob, Sandy Hob, Albino Hob and Jill. I am giving some demonstrations of how ferrets are used to locail school kids.

I to am no stranger to genetics and from a line of pure bred albinos all you will get are albinos, where as if the eye colour of black or burgundy are present the white masks the colour of the coat. The Silver and the BEW genes are both the same, the silver is how this ferret started off and in his next year he was DEW or BEW can you explain a bit more as you seem to be quite knowledgable about genetics from your reply have a look at this not sure if its any good but you have to sign up with yahoo ferret genetics Yep you can get some help on the ferret genstics site.
