  1. Yep same here, every time I go out to shoot live quarry. I usually put something like a bottle top on a fence post, stride out to my zero distance (30m) and hopefully shoot it off!! Takes seconds few, and leaves me with peace of mind. regards, Mikeyblue.
  2. As above mate, get it checked. Most gun shops will have a chrono, shouldnt be a problem.
  3. Speak for yourself Donk!! She would take one look at my beer belly and be all over me like a wet shell suit!!
  4. This is pic of my old Rapid MKII, .177, John Bowket tuned. Awesome deadly accurate, and whisper quiet. Sadly had to sell as my tax bill was larger than expected. Now I have gone back to my roots and brought a second hand springer. Its a HW95k in .177, and must say im enjoying my shooting more than ever! Im also considering a nice custom stock and a tune up by Sandwell Field Sports just to 'pimp it up' a little. Will have to wait for the pennies to come in again though! Kind Regards, Mikeyblue. P.S Some lovely rifle pics posted so far, keep em comin!
  5. Next he will be suppin tea from your flask and smokin your tabs!!

  7. Must say Johnboy, very generous of you, top-man!
  8. Hi All, I havent really cooked with rabbit a great deal. I have just deboned s two hind legs and diced the meat. I was wondering if there is an easy way of taking the membrane off as when I tried I made a right mess of it! Also will the meat still be tender if I cook with it on? I was thinking of doing a curry in the slow cooker? Any advice would be great, Regards, Mikeyblue.
  9. Nice haul there mate, and a great write up, very entertaining!
  10. Cheers lads, hoping to get out a bit over the weekend as well. Will let you know how I get on. Mikeyblue.

  12. He he he random as feck, love it!!
  13. Yep same here. Let em have a run and a play around the front room. With my two jills being this years young, they are very playfull and have lots of energy to burn off. I try and give them an hour a day. Same as Slayer says, mine love to get inside the sofa and have a root about.
  14. Hi, Bagged my first bunny since returning to the sport last evening. I was really buzzing as I have worked hard on my marksmanship, and it paid off!! I have done a lot of paper punching and some HFT, and not shot at anything live until I have been %100 confident in achieving a humane dispatch. Well, I got to my cricket club shoot at 1930hrs yesterday. Took out my HW95k and checked zero, spot on at 30 yds.Im really determined to get the numbers under control on this shoot as the rabbits have been scraping at the outfield and square, making little 'ankle breaker' holes. Off I we
  15. lol I bet it is. When I bring my pair of Jill kits in they try and play with the dog, who runs off scared and hides on the bed very unimpressed!!
  16. Jac, how do the ferret and cat get on??
  17. Clinical shot placement there mate. Great read also. Mikeyblue.
  18. Glad you had a good time pal. I had my first go at HFT on Sunday, addictive stuff!!
  19. Tell him I will give him £ for the lot, make himself a nice little profit!!
  20. Cheers Lads, Im getting there now. I have put the best part of a tin and a half of pellets through the HW95k over the last few days, and my groups are getting remarkably tight!! Chuffed to bits! Got the day off tomorrow so will be shooting at different ranges to map trajectory. So hopefully bunny bashing over the weekend. The club I play cricket for has a bunny problem so should keep me busy for a while. Some rabbit damage, hundreds of these little scrapes around the outfield. Where they are coming from, the gardens behind the trees. I think an ambush is in order!
