  1. Congrats Si, all the best on your new life together Kindest Regards, Mikey,
  2. Great to see lads off here meeting up, and enjoying their sport. Mikey.
  3. Hi Davy, Have you had chance to test it out yet mate and compare it against other NV units. Im toying with the idea of getting one. Hopefully rigging up an attatchment to use it as an add on to my scope. Seems like a bargain at that price pal Mikey
  4. Hi Mate, Dont think it should be a question of which is the better rifle, as they are both excellent and capable of stunning accuracy. I think it is more a question of which you, yourself prefer. Try and shoulder both, even better have a few test shots and feel whats better in your hands Regards, Mikey.
  5. Hi Si, Nice shooting pal! Glad you are getting on with the Falcons. Used them in my R10 .177 and still cant find a pellet that groups better. Sadly I found they are to susceptible to wind being only 7.3 grains. In .22 at 13.4 grains I think you get the best of both worlds. Flatter trajectory and delivering a decent weighted payload! Kind Regards, Mikey.
  6. Best of luck pal, Sadly not attending the extreme series, but will be at Quarry for the National UKAHFT round later in the year. Mikey.
  7. Great write up Simon, top shooting. you want to see a therapist about that Ste! Mikey
  8. Great scopes these. Im a big fan of the SCB reticule. Some bargains there for someone! Mikey.
  9. Nice mate. Miss having a springer about. Might have to save up some pennies and get looking on the classifieds! Keep at em mate Mikey.
  10. Hi Si, Feel free to use the pics mate. I can send you the originals for better quality if you like, I still have your e-mail I think from a couple of others I sent across. Mate, the R10 is awesome now its been tweaked. Like you say the reg is now at 90bar giving a better pellet seal in the breach, and more shots per fill. The transfer port was also machined out so it sits perfectly flush giving better consistency. it was all done in front of my eyes, the man is a genius!! Its an absolute pleasure to shoot mate as you probably know having one yourself! Will send them pics acros
  11. Cheers lads, it was nice to get out! Hi Ste, Yeah It was nice to show him that the air rifle can do the job around the yard, without trashing the roofs etc. Next time Im up there will get a few pics of the permission to show you all. Its a cracker. Mikey
  12. That is an absolute bargain for someone!! If I didnt have my taxbill to pay, I would be snapping your arm off! Best of luck with the sale. Mikey.
  13. Hi Lads, Managed to wangle an early knock off today (one of the few perks of being self employed!) So I thought I would take a trip out to my newest permission to control a few Feral's I had promised the farmer I would sort out. Nothing exciting to report really, only one testing shot, a 35 yarder took kneeling. Other than that it was all around my zero and supported. The 35 yarder was taken with the farmer watching over my shoulder so the pressure was on!! Luckily the Tench Tuned R10 performed faultlessly delivering the Webley Mossie straight to the swede of the pigeon Managed t
  14. Another vote for the S10 here mate. Regulated, large shot capacity with the buddy bottle, and the very accurate BSA barrel Mikey
  15. Im another satisfied customer of Simon He made a good rifle into a great one in the form of my R10. I rang him at about 11.00am and asked if he could fit me in that day. He told me he was busy but come down anyway and will fit me in! Go there at 1pm and he set to work straight away. He stripped it totally and machined and lathed bits so they all sat perfectly. Also fettled my regulater to 90bar. I know have a much smoother firing cyle with greater locktime, and more shots per fill to boot. All for a very small sum of money. Cant reccomend him enough! Hey Si, we were talking a
  16. Keep trying mate The more you ask the more chance you have of bagging one. Ive found in the past, its best not to turn up in camo shooting gear, just every day wear. Best of luck pal, keep at it! Kind Regards, Mikey.
  17. Hi Andy, True mate, wind is the fecker that we cant cheat on!! Mikey
  18. Hi Lads, Ive just had a good read of another thread, and its clear many people have many views on the merits of both PCPs and springers. My two penneth is that as Airgunners we have never had it so good! With laser range finders telling us the exact distance, and Chair Gun telling us what hold over/under to give, it has made our job a lot easier. I often shoot my knockdown target at 70yards with a reduced kill zone. I dont consider this a particulary good shot. I know the distance, I know to give it 3.5 mil-dots. Its just a case of holding a steady rest, and good trigger control and re
  19. Like you say mate its probably the mindset. Im sure the breast meat is fine, but I wouldnt eat anything that feeds on carion. Mikey
  20. I reckon 300 notes would be a fair price mate. Think it would sell at that, i wouldnt take any less. Mikey
  21. That looks sweet mate! Best of luck with the sale, great rifles the S200. Regards, Mikey.
