    Had a similar thing happen when may salxgrey x whipxgrey was about 10 months. I was out walking the 5 dogs and for some reason He decided to run , luckily he ran home, but I was shitting it. I then started taking him out on his own one on one and all was forgotten until one night when we went lamping, he'd had a couple of runs and catches then I slipped him and he flecked off . I spent 4 hours looking for him then lost me rag and went home thinking he's gone and I honestly didn't think I'd see him again.     I've had mine on gains 28 for about 3 months now and it's great they are holding there weight look good and the shits are solid. I've tried lots of feed but my salxgreyxwhip loses weight over night when worked hard, he seems to hold it better on this

    To be honest Floyd had given some good advance , the only thing I would add is if your using the dog for lamping take him out with a dummy/ ball with hi vis on lamp it and get him retrieving that back to you. It isn't going to happen over night so dont get disheartend but you only get out what you put in, and when it all comes together there's is know better feeling. Atb John

    We have had some fun with that dog, he got it as a rescue feed it up and got it used to a new name, we walked the dogs down the canal and went for a pint. He said let's go in the field which was pend in and let him off for a run. We jump the fence and let him off the lead and he didn't move I let mine go and still didn't move so I put mine back on the lead next minute he was off , we tried calling him and nothing we started getting pissed off until we saw the hare he was after he coursed it and nailed it and brought it back to her dad( this was after 2 weeks of knowing him) and his words where

    Should of said when you see a. Good grey work it mint and mental, everything happens at a hundred miles an hour. There's no running up behind them and winding them down its in strike, in strike.     The farther in law only ever worked greys and whippets he has one now that would take everything not big numbers but was game as out, he could take rabbits better than the whippets. The dog is now in the campo region of Spain still knocking over fox and the odd rabbit at 9 years old I've some pic of him some where with his catches I'll try and up load. Atb John
