  2. alrite lads, just gonna add my support to the National Ferreters Register, as I'm a Full member I've got nothing but praise for Richard who runs the site, He is a top guy. There is nothing dodgy about the site at all. As was commented earlier about recieving permission through the web site I have managed to pick up permission near Monmouth and I'm waiting for a reply to more possible permission this week. All I've got to say is if you like ferreting that much then sign up www.Ferreting.biz its only been up and running for 5 mths or so, so get on and sign up.
  3. Hi Frank, Bought the mk3 two weeks ago, I've had a play with it in the house and at the moment i prefer the mk1 but as i havnt used it inthe field yet i'll wait and see how it shapes up.

  6. Alrite m8y, I'm gonna buy a mk3 in the next few weeks, gonna buy it from 'The National Ferreters Register' (ferreting.biz) only £114.00. Gonna keep my mk1's though as back up.

  8. Hi lads and lasses, Thought I'd share this sad day with you as it happens to us all one day. Had a phone call this morning around 10.30am, it was my brother. He was balling his eyes out and I couldn't get a word out of him for what seemed like ages, then it came " I cant do it, please come to the vets". I knew straight away its was Sam's day. I said I'd be there asap. I got there 10 minutes later. My brother was standing outside the vets with old sam'o. When I got up too him he was still balling his eyes out. Hi Wife, i'm not fishing this weekend doing the front garden saturday and clearing some bunnies for someone sunday morning near Monmouth, went there two weeks ago had 1 bunny and 12 rats, wasnt happy about the rats they were bigger than my hob, yet it was my small jill that bolted them, the guy knows other people that are having problems with summertime bunnies so he's asked me to clear them for him, I wont be killing them just catch and relocate where i hunt locally in the winter. just hope the hob don't kill in.   13. alrite wfe, You can definately fish Barry Dock mate, I usually fish in front of Morrisons had some good bass there. The best bait is live prawns which you can catch in a drop net over the white-light breakwater. also catch Ballan Wrasse, good size pollock and good size flatties in there but ive only seen them be caught i havnt caught any myself. Jacksons Bay is Barry Island, up past the old Butlins camp. at the junction at the top take a left, follow the road around and you will see the white-light on your right. Alrite there Wife, been fishing Jacksons bay and The Knap lately had a few bull huss and small doggies, Hoping to get down Ogmore soon for the flatties and possibly the odd bass or two if im lucky. Gonna try Barry dock as well for the bass, get some biggies out of there every year. Happy fishing mate.

  16. Alright folks, It's The Hob here, I haven't been on here for a while as I've been having problems with my computer, I had 200+ Viruses in the system. Since I've sorted the problem out I havent been able to log in, Well gutted, As it is I've re-registered as Monkey-boy so now I can enjoy this great site once again.
