They have again today blocked me from their FB page and deleted my posts on their various for sale posts, where I have been requesting information on my order and advising others of the situation.

Please all be careful. they are based in the USA and offer worldwide shipping etc but I'm now finding many people who are in a similar situation. Please spread the word on whatever forums and FB groups you are on to stop others falling into the same trap.

Hi I have recently got a jill for the new season and she seems to have a sleep dis-order, I have googled and found on a few forums pictures and descriptions which seem to match her behavior and they call it "Dead Ferret Sleep". She is perfectly normal when awake but I find her regularly in a very deep sleep that you cannot wake her from. Has anyone any experience of this, I would appreciate any information Thanks

I had this happen last year, i had planned to breed from my jill but she never came into season all year, in previous years she had come into season early march and then again july/August time.

i've used Golden valley for 6 years, excellent value and on the two occassions i have had to use a vet they have paid up instantly no problem, i would recommend them to anyone.

Hi i recently took in a jill and her 5 kits, all are doing well and i have found homes for the jill and 4 of the kits. So i have a hob left, looks like he will be a silvery colour with darker markings across his shoulders and down his legs. Their eyes opened last week so should be ok to go in 3 to 4 weeks time.I'm in kent in the Rochester /Maidstone area if anyone is interested.

The problem with the county show is the entrance cost, its just not affordable to take your family for the day which is a great shame.

mine don't seem to mind a bath, i use a small plastic washing bowl, tepid water and one of those ferret shampoos you can buy. The only time i've done it is on the odd out breakout of fleas and once when they got ticks, i find its generally easier to find things like this when they are wet and you can quickly deal with it. If the're just muddy i let them sort themselves out.

I was wondering if there were any pigeon shooters in the Maidstone area who had any surplus from time to time that i could use for feeding ferrets. thanks Mick

Hi my jill's first litter was 13 all were raised with no problems and she only has 7 teets. i used to give a bowl of goats milk and water (50/50)daily occasionally i would add an egg. plenty of fresh pigeon meat. They also varied in size but all very healthy. good luck Mick

join the IFF - falconry forum and do a search for mews & weatherings and you'll find alot of pictures of different set ups that may help. good luck Mick

Been out for the last two weeks but finding very little around, again today most earths empty don't know where they all are?
