Over the summer me and REW gained 150acres of some great permission, the farmers a very genuine bloke, gave us maps to the land, signed permission slips etc, he's noticed an increasing number of rabbits round the tops of his land so he asked us to have a real good crack at them, we chose to lamp with the dogs as it will be the most effective this time of year plus REW could get his pup sone experience in as he's at the right age to knock a few over now, I took along my trusty LASS, we had a cracking night at them and I got to put David Lloyds 150 lamp to the test, which I must say is a crackin

Cheers guys, its bin the worst ferreting season we've had with the overgrowth not dyeing down till Jan and then young in march, although I have done plenty daytime mooching as well, either way when I'm out with dogs hunting or just having a wander I enjoy every minute of it, look forward to September/October already lol,cheers

Well with the summer round the corner and another hunting season season finished I thought I would share a few picks of some memorable days out this 15/16 season, its bin a good one, both dogs and have done me proud and have a well earned and deserved break ahead of them, hope you all have had a decent hunting winter and share a few picks if you like, thanks for looking, cheers....

Agree with you there jiggy, part of me feels like going for it sooner but I also don't want to breed them too young, nowadays I'm always on new ground exploring new places etc which rises the chance of a fatal accident happening which is a worrying thought, but I suppose its all part and parcel of working dogs
