    been getting my pup out on lamp to show him what to do with other dogs. hes reached 8month now and is keen as fook. took him out with xx-georgia's-xx bitch which is a whippet grey every weekend (and silent hunter off here came along to, to watch) for about 2months and friday night he took his first rabbit.the rabbit bolted from cover once we walked by it and kye seen it so i flicked lamp on and slipped him and he ran to it turned it underneath himself and got back on to it and pinned it to the floor with his mouth. his 2nd one was when i took him out with silent hunter again the next night. i

    as anyone ever found that there dog runs rabbit on lamp but doesnt take bolted rabbits whilst ferreting. just out of curiosity. atb N.H

    nice dog mate. mine will just be for rabbits. how big did your dog make. atb N.H he made 25 inch i think but ill check later has he had any catches ? mine only hunts rabbits and the odd hare nowadays too. hes only 7 1/2 month but gave him a run the other night. slipped him on a rabit he motored up to it turned it twice into the gob of my mates dog then grabbed it a split second after. hes a very keen dog and should definatly hit the grade. atb N.H
