    How new is this disease? Is worst then myxi or the first rhd strain? I heard there was a programme on TV other night which bought up the situation, my grandpa who's getting on says he heard its effecting hares?, is it true? I'm hoping he didn't hear it correct but if its true I'm hoping its not gunna be as deadly as I've heard, cheers

    Had a good couple hours on some new land, this land holds a big population of rabbits as we fount out on our arrival, its high and the there's plenty of sedge with pockets of flat grass, plenty warrens on the hills, we had a consistant day taking a couple out each sets mainly bolting to dogs, with gem accounting for alot, she really was mopping them up, LASS comes into her own working the sedge and accounted for a good amount knocking them out the cover, we ended on 42, we started late about 1 pm and finished around 5, next time we go back I think the tons on the cards, didn't take cams or pho

    Me and Rew had a local trip to check out a place for first time this season, my dog DUKE has just come back of a toe injury, he's had 4 weeks lay up one week on medication and it done the trick, ground was wet so perfect night to give him a few runs, REW took his Romeo x pup BUD, we had some good runs and dogs worked well pushing the rabbits of the hedges, DUKE was back on form which was good to see and he mopped up seven rabbits in total, rews pup caught 3 and was very unlucky not to put a few more in the bag, his retreiving was spot on aswell, retreiving with his head held high, wasnt the bi

    Lucky I've kept an eye on my 10 nets lol, not like you tomo to use nets sounds a great day though, maybe being a pest controller has spoiled vin lol, I enjoyed nets agin but I must say I was looking forward to having a few bolts to dog, caught two in a row about 10 secs apart, had one warren were lass ran a rabbit over the hill to rews set, as lass was gone I stuck my foot over a bolt hole but as i put it down a rabbit bolted I had it pinned with my foot for a sec but end up loosing my foot in and another rabbit bolted straight into it and they was gone lol, can't beat it

    New ferrets socks, don't trust them getting nippy, rews young hob was having a war dance at Richard lol plus feel better stuffing my soft hands down the warrens with gloves on never know what's lurking under them them boulders and sets lol ?

    Had a session over weekend with REW and a pal of ours, we headed out the door at half 6 for the long journey ahead. we aimed to do some tricky warrens that the landowner wanted us to have a good go at, it almost quarry like, steep with lots of lumps and bumps and boulders, now we normally ferret the field round this to dogs, no nets needed, but this particular bit needs nets in order to catch a good few, so off we went with longnet a good amount of purse nets, Mine and REWS 2 lurchers.     I cant spend enough time up there phil, amazing place to be, not jist the rabbiting, but the landscape and views are fenominal,, Chuckles certainly has produced some cracking kits, would love to get my hands on a pair of good working hobs, TOMO done me a big favour and gifted me a Jill so I can still have some days ferreting whilst waiting for the right ferrets,, Was good to see you mate, REW is my cousin btw lol, maybe we will meet in the field one time ?
