  4. The pups are coming on great ive already bin and picked a bitch pup and put a deposit on her. The bloke txt me yesterday say my little pup was chasin a fly lol there only 3 1/2 week. I must say there very forward for there age and started eating proper food aswell now. Cheers

  8. The pup will be with me other 2 dogs in the house so should be sound. Im glad to hear 6 weeks is ok as a few folk not on this site say a pup should never leave its mum until 8 week. Cheers lads

  13. i have took on a whippet over this previous season due to my lurcher breaking his leg, and all in all he hasnt done too bad. Had a few ups and downs but i think hes getting there. Im just wondering what numbers of rabbits whippets can acheive appose to lurchers?

  16. im looking for a good all rounder bitch to put my dog over, kye is 4 and a half years old and his breeding is 9/16 greyhound 3/16 collie 1/8 whippet 1/8 bedlington an can honestly say he was a cracking all round dog until he broke his hock about 6 month ago and now he has a lump of metal around his joint and he will never be able to work like before. all i want back from the breeding is a bitch pup for myself and the owner of the dam can keep the rest, genuine replys only please. atb

  18. sorry to hear for your dog pal. the rabbit population round me is p**s poor, but all you can do is keep pushing on and hopefully land a nice plot of land with a decent ammount of rabbit, well the population of them doesnt stop me from hours and hours of mooching with dog and ferret to find new places and most of the time return with 2 maybe 3 rabbits, sometime none atb
  19. cheers chartpolski the only thing that concerns me is the metal in his leg but like max says i can only try and take him out and see how he copes with it
  20. my dog broke his hock around 5-6 month ago he had an operation to fill all the cracks in his bone with bone from a different part of his leg bone and reposition his tendons that run down the hock to the original position, they also put metal around this joint and told me that the metal is there to stay as it will fuse with the bone anyway 5-6 month down the line hes very energetic and runs round the garden all day with my whippet and play fights so im just wondering if hes any good to be taking out again? any help will be appreciated. atb
  21. has been a good start up to yet, gyps still got abit of learning but will have him running well by the end of this season, needless to say fly has been impressive mate and proved shes got heart after what her feets bin through. looking forward to our next time out mate atb

  23. my cousins got some decent permission. at notts though but could have a word with him if u fancy it mate. nothing wrong with meetin some lads into dogs as not many are these ways. atb
