  1. I have been invited to a shoot with the choice if I want to join, I haven't got my license or know much about shotguns. So I was looki for some advice on which gun would be a good entry gun l. Also I am going to get some lessons, I am from the North east is there anywhere you would advise to go. Thanks in advance
  2. I have been looking for a good working cocker spaniel for the past couple of months and had finally choice a breeder but after conversation with him and finding out the price he wants for a pup is what I thought was astonishing £1000, is this the actual going rate for a good working pup these day or is he having my eyes?? Many thanks
  3. I am totally new to this rifle situation so abit of advice and help would be great. ? I am looking at getting my self my first rifle for shooting rabbits and the occasional fox. I have been looking at a browning .17HMR T bolt what are your opinions of this, and if you think there would be something better to get please don't hesitate and let me know. Many thanks Scott
  4. Why not use a heat seeking missile while ya at it mate
  5. faster the better for me but it needs a brain to know when it need to jump on the brakes. But if it is a very fast dog the rabbit shouldnt get close to the whole any ways.
  6. In my opinion I could never get rid of a dog that I have bonded with even if they were no world beaters, but I do agree I would definitely not breed form them. The only problem I have is when people are saying they would prefer to take their dogs to a field and shoot them rather than take them to the vets, to me that’s ridiculous and I wouldn’t dream of doing so, to me I think things like that give hunters a bad name and we all go on about wanting the ban revoked well if a non hunting person was to hear of something like this going on it would definitely not help with our appeals. But that
  7. lowe just got a new pair spot on and they must be good if all the military lads buy them for exercise and i getting smashed about in the!
  8. heres anoth one in to the mix i hered a fella on about a litter been full of white patterdales could this be true or not?? and if so how could this ever happen
  9. all athletes mate it gives every one who takes it an advantage, makes ya get in to the zone and work harder, for example i went on a army training thing the other week we all had done the same training but we got divided in to two teams to compete against each other so i gave every one some creatine (no xplode) before we did a steeple chase and we beat the other team by two minutes says it all mate it not just for getting bigger its for all round performance been if it running to weight lifting they all work off the same principles the harder you work the better you will become.
  10. uno you have just hit the nail on the head for what it is, i use it for my self when training thai boxing basically what it does is pretty much give you a buzz to make you train harder for longer and make you more focused on what you are doing personally i have never had the side affects mentioned, but i could see why it might be a good supplement to use when competing or wanting the dog to perform better than usual but it wouldn't be used every day just on days you want the dog to seek the benefit. i only take it on days i train and not on days i don't so i wouldn't see why it would be differ
  11. First time I have been and had a good time but speaking to people there they said it was not a very good turn out.
  12. All you need to get is any horse crib stop I have never needed to use it before so I wouldn’t be able to tell you if it works or not.
  13. Increase the protein intake by either feeding him a higher dry mix or I have hered people putting a scoop of whey protein in there food once a day
