Hello all just been doing a bit of permission this week to fill the freezer and it was a great day out with jills of old and new We did banks, hedgerows and flat spots, had 23 keepers and 5 that werent worth skinning and and dug to a couple of nests we do this spot every year just to keep the farmer happy and every year ther is more in young later in the season I put it to global warming wetter summers and calmer winters what are vyour views I am thinking of snaring in these circumstances in future because our jills are taking a lot of abuse and are smaller than most, CC17

HELLO, I am keeping the strain of short legged chunky russels going that my father worked and bred and added to for x years some of my grandfathers old hard queen anne legged lines were traced and added to the breeding about ten years ago, now I am a big fan of borders myself but this strain which has been around my village has never failed to locate quarry they are stubborn and never jib to the most formidable of quarry and are as gamey as other breeds I have passed on and are also a powerful jawed good looking breed and I would like to set a nicer more defined standard of the line and would

A local forrestry worker heard I kept ferrets as he has moved up the road from my house, I gave him my number and told me that some of the other forrestry plants had rabbit problems from time to time and told me he would mention my name and drop them my number I was well pleased has anyone else had the pleasure of working these sapling plantations??
