    its because a cb radio has 4 watts output on 27mhz the ham radios power output is 100watts to 200watts the max power we are allowed to use is 400 watts we use hf/vhf/uhf

    older guns that dont have damascus or other twist steel barrels can handle standard steel cartridges NOT high velocity heavy loads, dont use any tighter choke than half
