    guys the feo is only there to do the paper work they do not decide if you get a certificate or variation i have plenty of them trying to muck me about but i wont let them i go over their heads

    phone the feo and tell him you are sending your application back in if he does not agree to that tell him you will be contacting the chief constable i am sure he will change his mind as its the chief constable who decides what you get and dont get

    Hi Deker i and the gun shops and the firearms departments around this area are all wrong i posted this on the pw site as well and everyone is saying the opposite from what we all were told that you were not allowed to use solid ammo on vermin any more around 1996 -- 1998

    this was changed you had to have the authority to purchase hollow point ammunition etc for vermin control it was on your f.a.c. if you did not you could not buy it i have just got my fac back after a few years but have not heard if this has been changed that you can use solid rimfire ammunition on vermin. no i aint taking the piss deker

    solid ammo is not allowed for anything but target shooting but you all know this dont you the law changed years ago about using solid .22lr ammo it was changed to use hollow point ammo on rabbits etc. i havent heard this has been changed back again i know it changed for couriers carrying hollow points and expanding ammunition

    i have the simmons 3.5- 10x 40 on my winchester xtr featherweight compact .243 and no problems with recoil etc

    just cause you aint seen him on a shooting range does not mean he does not use a range are you trying to cause trouble Deker

    dont leave by law you are allowed too shoot lead balls from your muzzle loader on a target range there is lots of ranges that have this as the muzzle loader is not loaded till on the range the powder shot & wads are classed as components
