    Shouldn't be done at all IMO , ruins retrieving and end up in a tug away game if they catch itI'd only do it once with a pup if the pup had no experience of catching any game at all, if you'd trained your dog to a decent standard then once wouldn't affect it's retrieving Ps I'm not talking about a bunny dog
