    Not being funny pal but what you have is probably 1 in 1000, and i still wouldnt breed off them because the pups almost certainly wont work. KC terriers have been bred for looks for too long and have lost the ability to do proper earthwork in all but a few cases. And your second comment any dog thats trained right will go down a hole...is true, but its what the dog meets down the hole that splits the difference. Any numpty can run an empty earth, i doubt it if your dogs will stick it in the long run, but i really hope they do. And well done for trying and giving it a go FTB

As such they need to know their boundaries and be well trained in the field and socialised to humans. If i wanted my dogs to only know that they have to kill anything that i send them for, then i would say your method would probably suit. I however like my dogs to be well trained and used to all different environements

Locating on steep banks takes alot of practice, and a fair degree of judgement. FTB

    I have no time for pretenders either pal, and i dont feel the need to prove my dogs to anyone. I work amongst a close group of friends and we have our own way of working. It works for us, and thats all that matters. What you do with your dogs is none of my business, and in todays climate i wouldnt be meeting anyone anywhere or telling them anything about my dogs. FTB

    I run collie/greyhound/saluki/whippet tyopes on a variety of game. And WTF is it with people wanting to meet up and prove themselves, i couldnt care less what other people thaught of my dogs, i just work away quietly myself and they do everything i ask of them. I suggest you do the same. FTB

    This is for you to state what age you start a yound dog on quarry, NOT a post for you to tell everyone that your method is the best. I realise that every dog is different and should always be considered so this is just a general opinion of the average age you start a dog working.

Running a puppy on live quarry imo is ridiculous and the only thing the dog will learn is it cant catch them (consistently). This IMO leads to dogs yapping, and dogs not trying like they should.     Sorry i am all out of bullshit for one night. Tpo be honest mate, if your method works then i think its great, I wont be following suit, but keep on doing what your doing if it works. There is no right and wrong way to bring on a dog and what works for you wont work for someone else. The thing that pissed me off was your posts that were advocating your method as THE way to do it, which just aint true. The guy initially asked for advice, and the first few posts gave him that.
