Anyone got a Mannlicher Pro Hunter?
FightTheBan replied to dave1372's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Dont think the cost can be justified due to build quality. Just my opinion though. -
On a more serious note, is there a possibility that voting for smaller minority partys such as BNP could lead to another labour win? I am concerned this may be the case, the b*****ds win by default! FTB

Thats what drives men to domestic abuse. Joke FTB

Its down to the area we live slowly being turned into a muslim town with muslim immagrants being sent here in their thousands as sheffield has now become the city of refuge with over 10,000 somalians now living their who dont want to integrate with the indegenouse population and we are copping for the overspill. With all due respect, Sheffield has always been a cess pit... Just kidding mate, i think it is shocking what the government is doing to the country, yet we all just bend over and take it because its the easiest thing to do. Im voting BNP, not because i know about them in gr

gamekeeping job
FightTheBan replied to kx100's topic in Gamekeeping, Conservation & Shoot Management
Dont listen to the auld boys who tell you theres no money in it these days. There never was, but moneys not everything life. If you really enjoy it (after experiencing it all the good and bad) then you should go for it. If you apply yourself and be as good as you can be, there are good jobs out there with decent wages. I know a couple of beatkeepers who are on £300+ per week, how many 22 year olds have that spare in thier pocket a week and a house/car/kennels+all the benefits. Not many. All the best in your future career mate. FTB -
Bull x's are good for retrieving shot foxes and deer etc There is no need for bull other than that. They are not the 'allrounder' they are made out to be. If your game is a bit of everything, theres pleanty other crosses better suited to the job. (imo) No doubt someone with their trackies tucked into their socks will come along and call me a prick! Just messin FTB

WHEN GATES TRACTOR AND SO ON GET STOLEN WHO DO YOU THINK BUYS THEM [/quote Aye and who buys stolen dogs... Theres always unscrupulous members of any community, least of all the dog game. Unless there is anyone else here that can make an educated conclusion from both sides, i am the only one. Ive been there when they need a tow out, ive been there to see things go missing, ive been there in the morning to find the wheel marks all over barley fields. You cannot bleme the farmers for tarring us all with the same brush, its all they know and you would do the exact same if you were in ther

Cheers FTB YOU ARE A SNOB No mate. I tell it how it is because i have experience on both sides of the fence. Luckily through work i have more permish than you could shake a stick at, but to lads who find it hard, do the legwork and it will pay off in the long run. FTB

Theirs no big deal as long as no damage or theft of other things besides rabbits is done But you have to look at it from there side mate. Some farmers that get a raw deal as soon as they see a lamp are on the phone to the screws. Idiots with dogs have dragged all our names through the mud to an extent than some farmers assosciate dogmen with thieves. I cant say i blame tham. It must be so disheartening to work you fingers to the bone for some dole scrounge to come and drive over your fields leaving a trail of destruction. We owe it to the sport to portray it in a good light,

Sully the reason the farmers slam the door in your face is because they have had so meany people who think the land is theres. Farmers get a harsh deal in certain areas, and i know this because i work on a farm part time. How would you feel if you couldnt leave your diesel tank unlocked, cant leave tractors in field, come to a field to find someone has stolen your gates and water troughs etc. I remember one night working late when the local waste of spece stopped in to ask for a tow out a feld. (He was in one of OUR fields heding towards the digger to empty it). Well you can immagine what

KC LAKIES DONT WORK TRUE OR FALSE
FightTheBan replied to wee.gunga's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
"IF IT DOESNT WORK OUT I WILL COVER THE BITCH £750.00 KC REG A PUP SO CANNOT LOSE .ANYWAY GOOD LUCK BOYS AND ALL THE BEST IN THE FUTURE KEEP THE HARD WORK UP." What a bawbag. You have a hell of a lot to learn, hopefully sooner rather than later before you breed of your one minute wonders adding more shite to the market. 750 a pup is a total joke, you couldnt pay me to take your KC shite. FTB -
Id get an Audi S3. Very tidy car. FTB

A friend on mine has his DSC and has the grace of a baby elephant whilst out stalking. Some things cant be learnt on a course.

do you think most kids should start school at 16 so they dont for get what they have been told YOU ONLY PICK ON 2GOOD BECAUSE HE,S AS THICK AS SHIT No i dont, it just helps . And no, it is idiotic to compare dogs to humans. No one is saying dogs should be kept in kennels till 12 months. As a pup, they should be out experiencing everything and learning for themselves whilst being aloud to be pups. Later stages comes training and proper learning. Game comes last when just about everything else has been covered. One step at a time is the key to success IMO. And thats all

dont you mean bend over ,you want to be , Your words...not mine. So not only are you a pretender, an amateur and a total messer when it comes to dogs. But you are also a closet homosexual. FFS Just kiddin bud, its all a bit of banter FTB
-
but i have started a lot for others ,some thing else i excel at So how do you know it was you that made them good dogs (if they ever were) and not the owner who put the time and effort in where it matters. The answer is you dont. This topic was started with concern to "whippets", and i seem to be the only one that has followed that through. Every breed is different, as is every dog, which is why you cannot say every dog should be started as young as 5 months, and if you still go by this blanket statement then i really have nothing more to say. Stick a fork in me, im done

So you have based this whole argument on that limited experience, and you say thet I dont know what im talking about. Pretender, for sure.
