  5. Agreed. Its not really bad here at all, compared with other places. But fools that do this will make it worse for everyone. Ayrshire. FTB I've posted about this before. Theres a lot of pet dogs that take deer particularly roe. These deer all get left where they're taken and lurchermen get the blame. I've read posts by lads who run deer and don't even intend trying to get the game home feeling its too hot. I don't deny this does happen but i still feel that the majority of dog caught deer found were taken unintentionally,by dogs that are kept as pets (admittedly often rescued running

  19. Lymes dissease is a vatiation, it is also common for one tick to be carrying more than one of the bacteria so victims usually have more than one disease. Its a real nasty if anyone has had experience of it, the state my pup was in had to be seen to be believed. FTB

  21. Its a disease passed on from ticks - there are three main diseases - lymes diseas, borreliosis and bartonelas (see bada.co.uk website for details). They can be transmitted to pets and humans quite easily and are usually in the hosts system indefinately. I know two gamekeepers with lymes disease and there fecked, and my springer had bartonellas - cost me two grand at the age of 17. She is cured now (fingers crossed) as i caught it in enough time - its fascinating that most vets know NOTHING about it, i had to get reverred to Glasgow vet school, hence the shit price. Be very carefull wh
