  3. Nice write up mate the photo of the 2 terriers sitting on the bag is brilliant I have always said the hunting life should do a ferreting calendar I for one would buy it

  5. Well done mate glad there is still some rabbits left down here in sussex last year they were quite thin on the ground hoping to get out next week work permitting

  7. what surprises me more is someone has not come up with a ferret collar for the bellman of barryvox, way. way superior in both search and locate range Totally agree Paulus if Deben had a bit of competition maybe they would sit up and listen what the ferreters want personally I like and prefer the mk 3 but there is a lot that prefer the mk 1 each to there own. Give the buyer what they want
  8. As said well done mate nice to see the young'uns out doing a bit
  9. As said working ability 1st then light coloured ferrets as they are easier to see in cover

  11. Caused by the rough hemp i use 3mm drawcord on all my purse nets and they run free and catch with no probs i find the extra bit of weight helps keep them in place when its windy each to there own prefrence
  12. Great post mate if there is one thing i love as much as a bit of ferreting it's ratting great watching the ferrets and terriers work together
  13. These are Sad small minded idiots that hide behind scalfs and balaclavas because they are to cowardly to show who they are and what idiots they look. They know nothing about the countryside and how it is maintained Hope they all get squashed by a massive veggie burger.
  14. They all kill the rabbit if given half a chance rabbits have less chance of kicking off hobs because they are normaly bigger and stronger than jills and over the years we have worked both and personaly found you will dig a lot more to hobs than jills
  15. Yeh i have seen this one before the man is certanly not well
  16. They will mate they have only got one thing on there minds and it aint your chickens not saying they wont kill them on the way to getting there leg over either get them castrated then they can live together all year round or keep them split up till about september
  17. Wish they had one near us in the south east andy we got quoted £35 per ferret and yes you did read that correctly £35 EACH the robbing bas*ards we keep about 12 jills 2 are retired and 4 have been spayed so it was cheaper for us to use a vasectomised hob as the vet charges are a joke and i told them so as well i wasn't quite as polite as that.!!!
  18. Bolted all sorts over the years rats are quite common expecially when ferreting around farm buildings and streams etc
