Hi mate you will be able to teach him to come to you quite easy the way kay said But as stubby said you aint got a chance of getting him to stay still ferts are always either sound asleep or on the move the only way you might get him to stay still for a few mins is put a treat like a drop or two of ferretone on you finger and let him lick it off My daughter does this with all our kitts and she has built up a very good trusting relationship with all the ferrets old and kitts and she can do anything she wants with them and never gets so much as a nip GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR 1ST KITT MATE
  11. Would you say there is a lot more rabbiters in the north than there is in the south ? the south being london and anything south of it Because what i see and read rabbiting does seem a lot more sought after in the north than in the south we were born in london and have lived in east sussex ever since childhood and i can honestly say we have always found rabbiting very easy to get hold of so easy that we have had to turn land down coz we aint got the time to do it Its woken me up that maybe we take it for granted down hear i really feel for anybody who has difficulty finding permission t

  23. We house 10 jills together in a big court and they always try and hoard the food from each other but as long as you check in the morning and remove any food they have stored deffo in the summer you wont have any probs As stubby says if you keep finding loads you may be feeding them to much cut it down a bit

  25. Why utter bollocks Stubby? True its not a dead cert they will get ill but they definitely can do. the quote was aimed at the poster, rather than, the jill may get ill, the post had been written as though it was 100% gurantee'd that a jill will die if its not mated, Most owners know its not 100% gauranteed but why leave a jills health to chance ?
