  6. These people are low lifes mate you can buy ferrets for as little as £5 or look around and there are plenty free to good homes so why this scum feels they need to nick yours shows what sadoes they are our ferret court is hard wire alarmed padlocked and we have 2 security lights in the garden plus our jack russell dont miss a trick no theiving scum is gonna nick our ferrets one of our friends had all his ferrets and young kitts nicked in one go GLAD your daughter scared the scumbags off mate good on her
  7. How does a simple question of do you feed pork to your ferrets end up in a full scale slating match ??? the idea of the forem is to give and take advice you dont have to take the advice but on the other hand there is no need to be abusive to those who are giving it NOBODY on the site knows it all and never will we never stop learning and i for one have been ferreting for 33 yrs and have picked up some great bits of info from members so please if a member hasn't got anything constructive to say then saying nothing is better and more grown up than being abusive and rude

  9. Hi mate it works out a lot cheaper in the long run to get a hob vasectomised i fully understand that not everone has got the room for more than a couple of ferrets but if you have its the cheapest option we have 10 jills and 1 vasectomised hob (bert) he lives in the court with them all year round and we also work him as well if we decide to breed a litter from 1 of our best jills we take her out just befour she is due in season and mate her with one of our good friends best hobs then leave the jill to have her kitts in a seperate big cage untill the kitts are weaned and the jill then goes ba
  10. As like us i'm sure a lot of members subscribe to sky or virgin TV we have all the channels and there isnt one that covers field or country sports there are channel after channel of s*it and as like us you proberly end up never watching most of them but if you opt for a package they take all the best channels out wouldn't it be nice to have a field sport channel and watch some ferreting/shooting /hawking /or ratting etc none of these sports are illegal so why dont some tv channel have the courage to start one there are millions of people of all walks of life do field sports and as like me w
  11. came to the conclusion a long time ago mate that most vets are clueless when it comes to ferrets but all are well trained in the art of charging over the top fees

  21. £50 for a vasectomey thats a good price it cost us £90 down where i am and £60 for a castration or a jill spay the glue they use is quite common now instead of stitches dont hold me to this but im sure i have read it somewhwere they use glue now on some human keyhole surgery also
  22. Normaly give ours fur and feather but in the summer when its very hot or if we run out of fresh meat we use chudleys dry used to use james wellbeloved but the price just got silly in the end so changed to chudleys the ferrets dont seem to mind they are looking and working well so will stick with that
