Well done mate nice write up my brother got caught short one day last season we were out lucky for him we always carry some bog roll in the 4x4 and the ferreting spade had more than one use that day -
He was 2yrs old on the 19th of oct he marks the burys now quite well and is a fantastic little dog always full of it and always wanting to play tug or war with anything he can grab hold of but he doesn't bite the rabbits in the nets he tends to hold them with his front feet and then licks there eyes and sniffs there ar*es that suits me because at least i can sell them to my butcher unlike when my old russell george used to got hold of them he was a different kettle of fish the rabbit was mullered THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLYS GENTS happy hunting

We keep all our ferrets in one big court unless we have bred our best jill she then is taken out and allowed to have her kitts in peace she is returned to the court after weaning her young any kitts that we are keeping are introduced to the court slowly a bit at a time you do get a bit of squabbling to begin with untill a pecking order is established but 99% of the time they are fine you do however get on the rare occasion a ferret that just dont get on with others and they will unfortunatly have to be kept in a seperate cage dont forget come the spring you will have to seperate the jills and

Managed to get out again yesterday mixy has hammered a lot of our permissions we managed to get 8 same as last time we went out so not to bad the 8 we got were all clean we tried a young jill that my neice rescued this summer as a kitt it was being kept in a hamster cage in a out house next to a tumble dryer never handled and the lady it came from couldn't understand why it used to bite her ? these people never cease to amaze me the new girl worked well and doesn't bite anymore poor ted our jack russell got stung on his feet with nettles we had another enjoyable morning out

Always made my own nets but i know that netrigger does do a good net at a good price as do some other members on the site these people are supplying a great service to ferreters because there is not massive profit to be made in netmaking after paying out for the materials add this to the netmakers time and they make a few quid beer money not sh*t loads of money that some like to beleive lets hope these blokes and ladies who sell good nets at a good price are not a dying breed

Keep at it mate you will make fu*k ups to start with the 1st 3 rows are the hardest to master when i first started making nets years ago the air was blue with fu*ks now its so easy and your hands get used to it its like learning to drive a car when you first start your hopeless but after passing your test you wondered what all the fuss was about dont give up now keep at it and you will suss it out as del boy says he who dares wins LOL good luck with it

Thanks for the replys it was a nice morning out and demi my neice in the pics had her baby 6 weeks ago and couldn't wait to get out with her ferrets again as much as she loves her new baby girl she said she enjoyed the break for a few hours ferrreting

We went out today nice bit of sun but not hot did a small hedgerow and a old mound got 3 in the puse nets in the mound and caught 5 in the small square trammels i bought off tiercel (alan) off this site the trammels worked a treat as usual never lost a single rabbit out of these since using them highly recomended ended the morning with 8 healthy rabbits and best of all no hang ups it was nice gettting out
