a course of penicilin to get rid of infection then take tooth out robbin fecks, I can do the tooth my self its hanging out but not while infected.could make it worse

Im no expert, but was involved a little in the early days, with some of the guys from cumbria, wales and norfolk. But lets not get carried away with the word rough coated. Id say broken or even a course coat. Alot of the dogs had like a thick undercoat. When Brian first started he tried a variety of dogs, including the immal terriers, jacks and bull breeds with developments over the years and different clubs, all sorts of good and bad traits were taken out or developed further, to irradicate putty nose and Tri colour and a number of things, But Im quite sure now that it is as much a true bree

Kennel Maid, dont be to defensive, what he was saying was a compliment, some of the old lines came out with rough coats, and heavily tri coloured. Viper crosses threw some rough coats. Looks a nice dog, were the other pups red and white or tricoloured. Cheers Graham

About a month ago while I was away overnight with work my wife took the springer for a quick relieving session, while ours was on a lead a fella had is lab running around f****** about trying to have ago at the springer. My wife got wrapped up and ended up on her arse badly bruised side and pride. the guy just shouted his dog and tailed off in the other direction no apologise or help naff all. Well heres a dilemma. Been working the same piece of land for around 12years. had some great days and some shite. Ive been given the run around by a couple of foxes for years dog and vixen im guessing. Weve failed with the lamp so there now lamp and call shy. of course they could be different foxes I know, but Im not convinced. Well the farmer has moved some boundaries and just the other day I came across a great new earth, only had the spaniel so of I went. If you took Brian for what he was he was a nice guy, He genuinley believed what he wrote and said, sure there was some bullshit. But the guy is still spoke about and had a breed of dogs named after him, and his books are collectors items. He couldnt please everybody but how many of us can say we've acheived a qtr of what he did. Im not a great fan but I like to give anyone a fair chance and he did his bit for hunting etc.

In Winchester last year while having a few days away with the wife one of these tossers was stood with his van handing out leaflets and talking to people, I offered myself up for a lecture from him. Had another walk today and a drive looking for some new sport again with no luck. got sat down about 3ish with a bite of dinner when phone went, A good friend of mine Ron who keeps pigeons and chickens etc called and said hes sure hes got a fox in the chicken coupe what should he do. Well down with the dinner and off with the gun and a couple of dogs, well the rest is history. Although no digging great 30mins. FOR OBVIOUS REASONS CANT PUT UP PICS.

could try letting him play around while you hold the lead then check him when starting to get aggressive.
