Mate of mine down here in Pembrokeshire got his renewal the same way. 2 days after he had his cert through he had a visit to check his cabinet. Wasn't the FEO though, was just a normal policeman.

Not prime no more. At least yours holds some rabbits. I've only seen two in the past two months since mixi came through. Wiped out everything both sides of the valley.

Try a few stop nets set at 90 degrees to the hedge. I find a lot of rabbits will run out and down the hedgeline, a stop net set there will catch them

use them mostly 90 degrees to the hedge, to catch the rabbits running along the hedge line. Red line looks like the selvedge mesh, Green looks like the running line, Blue if I know TC, attaches the running line to the peg. I'm sure he will tell you if I'm wrong

I have burglary and theft from 15 years ago. 1 drunk night and a smashed shop window. Was going to apply for FAC and shotgun at same time, but was advised to try shotgun first and try for FAC a year or 2 later Long wait I think

Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire have the same FAO. They say 12 -15 weeks depending on any problems encountered

Fixed mag are usually lighter (good if you got a heavy rifle). Usually cheaper. You don't need to worry about working out the differences in mil-dots when changing the mag. Also if you only leave it on one mag, what's the point of having the rest? I got a 4x40 on my TX200 and find it's all I need

Cheers, I take it I need to put one for each calibre, not just put moderator for the above -
I'm applying for my FAC and was wondering where to put request for a moderator on the form. Do I apply for a moderated .22lr and .222, or should I write the rifle on 1 line and the moderator on a separate line? Thanks in advance Luke

They are on a farm my daughter lives on and not allowed to use killing traps or snares, only live traps or an air rifle. The door is solid which drops down on a hinge from the inside when the plate is pushed down and a bar drops to keep door closed

Got a little problem with Rats. I've got a couple of live rabbit traps with half inch square mesh. Would these be suitable for rats or is the mesh to big? Thanks Luke

If you are using the net as a traditional, a loop around the bottom pole and a half hitch around the top as you are setting the net. For a quickset I believe a rubber grommet is used. I have never used a quickset so I'm not sure

It arrived and what a brilliant piece of kit. Ordered one in red and that has got about 3 times the range of my ultra fire 805 in red

I'm changing my Gamo rocket IGT from a gas ram to a spring. My question is, how much pre load if any is there usually on a gas ram? Don't have a spring compressor and don't want to risk the internals flying out if I don't use one. Cheers Luke
