  7. whats with all the newbs that dont bother with the site but are selling on here?? surely this aint right
  8. .177 in the right gun has a tendency to over penetrate i have seen numerous birds fly off and drop dead 2 mins later but on the other hand if your going for hft .22's have a habit of clipping branches its essential in both cases to know your combo completely and be confident in your shot placement at every normal hunting range, no one caliber will do the work for you or make it easier you have to put the effort into every shot and make it count
  9. go get the ultra fella their devastating in the field and for the few quid it costs to have em reg'ed to get 100 shots per fill its well worth it
  10. its just sad that there is so much miss-information out there regarding hunting
  11. The most humane way of hunting for rabbit is with a high powered air rifle. A shotgun should ideally not be used as the shot pellets can ruin the meat, and the noise of the first shot will scare the rest of the rabbit population back into their burrows. With an air rifle, a rabbit can be dispatched almost silently with an accurate shot "just behind the shoulder bringing instant death." The hunter can then continue to pick off more rabbits from his or her upwind hiding place. i found this on a web site on self sufficiency now we have wanna be "hugh fernely whitting whatsits" out there shoot
  12. nice shooting there fella which rifle is that your using
