    I had a couple of 1st cross Lakie/ Staff about 25 yrs ago.One was useless the other very hard but never left her game despite taking alot of punishment. It was only when her offspring came of age that the benifits of this cross was really proved. Strong well boned jaws, spannable, Stayed well but had a brain ! The next generation were even better.

    I bought the standard 170 Remote striker. It has Ballast mounted on stainless plate on rear of lamp. It is alot lighter in weight and better balanced than some of the other conversions that I have seen. The light is 1st class even using it with a red filter.Kerry from Lightforce is very helpful and will advise on ( cheapest means ) of delivery

    The roof mounted Hid are availale direct from Lightforce in Aus. Have a look at Lightforce Custom build on their main site. Guy called Kerry is who I was dealing with. I got mine in Sept was delivered in less than 2 weeks. I am well pleased with it. And HEADS UP while on the subject . Stay well away from a busuness called Hidspotlights.com.au A guy called Nigel runs it A rip off merchant so be warned. Deal direct with Lightforce and you wont be dissapointed

    I have 2 R P A rifles 22/250 & 243 not the Thumbhole stock models.Standard Hunter stocks have been using them for 2 years and have no complaints very well built robust and do the job that I bought them for.

    This weather is makingthemvery keen on a handy meal from my traps. Had a vixen on Sunday morning and 2 Dog foxes this morning I have 11 cages running at present.15 accounted for since start of Oct.Using Pheasants/ Rabbit as bait with some cheap tinned dog food added for extra smell. Works for me.
