yeh must admit the loading is a bit of a faf thats why we went for the single shot I have never rated bsa's magasines and multi shot operating systems think they leave a lot to be desired. The ultra is a smashing little gun but I wouldnt swap her for my hw100. @shepp I wish then I could watch cant beat full on lettace liking session lol. -

well my mate rang me up a week ago and said he had had a lurcher dropped on him that ws going to be dummped and that he needed to pass it on as he didnt have kennel room any ways I was a bit apprehensive to say the least but I agreed to give him a try as I had to let my lurchers go a couple of years ago as me and the mrs were put in a flat temperarily now 2 years later we are now back in a house and I have a kennel built and had been looking at getting myself anouther lurcher at some point so the lurcher I now own is deerhoundxsuluki x bedlingtonxgrey he is 9month old and as he has already be

I dont think he will go far wrong with a hr barney mate there as soft as butter and grate for short flights to the fist there just not a hunting bird by any means and an adult getting into falconry would get board rather quickley but for a kid just starting off I think yous will get on well with it. all the best to you and the lal feller

Thats what I was thinking moley but 40 shots will be fine for her plinking and for her to take the odd rabbit with and when the novelty has warn off for me to get my stick mits on it and have a crack but if I get 40 shots thats plenty for bunny bashing be lucky to see 40 rabbits in the night round here nowa days -
A while ago now I bought my mrs a aas410 but she has never realy taken to it so we have sold it and been to bar today to get her some thing different to try any ways we had a £450 budget give or take a bit she looked at several second hand air rifles but she realy liked the look and feel of the ultra so she is the new owner of a brand spanking new single shot bsa ulta with logun silencer, scopes and pellets all for the great price of £398 she is made up now and we are going out soon to zero it in and see how she goes with it. My next question is wats the crack with having them tench regge

new permission last night. then the police come
ulverston moocher replied to sniper101's topic in Airgun Hunting
god there are some melodramitic people on hear I am not one for informing the police about were when and what I am doing not because I am doing anything illegal but because I like to grab my air rifle and piss off out of the way of everybody some times I move from permission to permission some times I stay put and most times I dont know where I am going till I am there isnt that the best part of the sport going and doing it with out having to think about anything. Ps the old bill get paid to do there job so they can bloody well do it without me ringing them and doing it for them if they w -
like been said mate keep at it nice easy slips make sure every thing is in the dogs favour and it will soon click.

I go to our local ferret show in november with the kids and to pick up some cheap bits as they have a good few trade stands these 3 fooking idiots come to the show since it started you have never seen 3 more wiered people in your life, they were harping on at the show about a tv show they had done before about a euro hybrid and how it was the only ferret they couldnt tame down and how it hurt them to find that this hybrid was a heartless killer and had mental problems because it killed her pet chicken and normal ferrets wouldnt do this as they are scavengers, I nearly laughed my cock off and w

hunting game above the ground with terriers
ulverston moocher replied to Mallard123's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I have a lakie and a Plummer and both work cover I think the plummers are an ideal all round dog and I shoot with the air rifle then send the terriers either one to retrieve what I have shot my lakie will some of the time drop short but I use my two terriers for everything -

electric fency's are allways a giggle when out lamping as long as your not the one who grabs hold of it first to see if its on. like you lads have said the good, the bad and the ugly of lamping can be testing at time hilarious at outhers and out and out heart braking I had to let my lurchers go to friends as we got moved to a flat temporarily 2years later we have just moved to a house so I think a whippet could be making in its way to our house some time. God I miss lamping.

I remeber lamping one night and a little shetland stalion started bitting my beddy whippet and because she was steady with stock she just stood there crying when it bit her so I being a real brain box slapped the shetlands arse now that would of been fine had I not been stood behind the f****r it booted me right in the knackers, droped me like a sack of shit and then started to bite me when i was on the floor i let go of the lead and the dog f****d off and my mate stood there not more than 10 ft away laughing his cock off . 19st 6ft 2 and got bested by a midget horse real crack. :wallbash:
