  1. John The galv panels that cannine..countrywide..dog health come from a company in Belgium called NESA..But after looking in to getting them myself I can't see how the UK company's where making much money at all Regards Kev
  2. With the way things are at the moment...you could possibly pick up a very well bred pup for £350 with the essential health testing etc Although with the end of the season coming..their will be some part trained bargains knocking about Regards Kev
  3. Oh dear.....If I was you wattiez I would stop now with the comments....you are not getting anywhere with this apart from starting to dig a very big hole. The more you post the more you are showing ignorance to the training of gundogs and breeding.... They will make very good beating dogs??? what qualifies you to make this comment..how many dogs have you trained to a high standard From what I understand you have a Labringer litter off your freind at the moment...a litter of Labringers of your own and a litter of ESS of your own as well.....and from your web site their have been quite a
  4. Sorry you want advice..stop what you are doing now..use whelping bars...don't let other dogs in to new born pups...take you tel number off your avatar
  5. The whelping bars are missing from the side of the whelping box.(cage).Labringer...springador are exactly the same thing..mongrel X's.... To deliberately breed a mongrel to a pure bred dog with no idea of the quality of pup in the working feild...no health tests is completly irresponsible...Plus their is no record of how many litters the bitch is having as they are not kc reg etc...what generation pedigree can be provided to the new owners.........sorry about your freind........but this should of never of happend....lots of inbreeding..no health test.....or proven working capability...this can
  6. I cant see why you would want to breed from an unproven line unless it was for profit?? After 15 years of training/breeding gundogs profesionally I can not see how these pups will bring anything to the shooting field ..the claim you make about the docking is obserd..has the Lab bitch been hip//eye..elbow..dna,,tested etc......is it from trial breeding..what was it bred too?? the black and white springer??? and then genetically its complete hit and miss.. Hey just my opinion....but barge and pole
  7. Steve http://www.salsawattiez.350.com/Labringer.htm It gets worse
  8. Steve..have a look at the web site mate...PF.....especially the picture of the new springer pups..something missing round the edges me thinks...Their are also some false claims going on here...blood starting to boil... The Labringer puppies that where accidently bred here went for £150..because that is all they are worth...how much are these mongrels...
  9. The litter that we had recently looked nothing like those of yours..is their really a place for these dogs in the shooting field... Regards Kev
  10. First off mate..if this dog is going to be your hunting partner for the next 10 years or so..go for the breed you like..do your homework on the breeding etc...and on the training..Its what you do with the dog thats important...their are pro's and cons to the breeds above..but if your rough shooting ..walk up etc does it really matter??? At the moment I've got a thing for cockers...to say they will suffer from cold is just rubbish and I would suggest the person has never owned one..shot over them etc.. Part trained//trained is an option and CAN save you money and time..or cost you a for
  11. Sadly I am with Nic on this one...a bit of hickory pockery with the wrong breed can produce very big cockers or small springers.... Had a guy recently for a lesson with what I naturally presumed was a black and white (badger) springer..only to be told that it was a blue roan cocker..... Yeah [bANNED TEXT] Regards Kev
  12. I work 7 days a week 10 to 12 hrs a day....not had a day off for the last year...but when you do what I do for living it's not a bad life Regards Kev
  13. Very sorry to hear that mate ..we nearly bought some runs of them when they where trying to get more business on the countrywide kennels thread....These runs are not unique at ALL to Cannine kennels..in fact doghealth do them cheaper...the onlything is now I am VERY wary about paying for 16 panels up front...I did find the manufacturer of these panels in Belgium but because I don't need loads it's not worth me buying them from them or going over their... Very sad times Regards Kev
  14. Can't see you messing the training up mate..to many of us on here to help you out..what part of the country are you from?? DURrr// just noticed Doncaster mate Regards Kev
  15. You have one already mate...a wee little cracker Regards Kev
  16. Its more about what you do with the young pup that matters mate...at 8 weeks mine was on the whistle...a few pips and she was [bANNED TEXT] back for a bit of ham//chicken..I would take her for short walks round the field and let her hunt up and then recall etc...Buy a small air kong dummy and get her retreiving ...then when you start more formal training half the battle will be over. To many people say I take my walks for long walks is that enough??? I would rather them go for a training session for the same amount of time..the dog will of had more exercise physically and mentall and wont of p
  17. Very good with kids mate..we have a little moster of a red head and the cockers are very patient with her.. But apparently the softer sex think they are cute??? Regards Kev
  18. I would go for a well bred cocker mate..make great wee house pets and cracking gundogs...Pointers should be worked at a fair distance from you and can be difficult to train..Oh and cockers eat less Regards Kev
  19. No need for e collar mate..Go back a bit with the training and refresh the stop and recall in an area with no game and then slowly introduce him to a more gamey area's...if hes got 200yds away from you hunting he's ignored the whistle for 180yds??? Also work on steadiness also..possibly its a bit to much to soon.. Regards Kev
  20. If they go smelly mate change them..I've used road kill when I'm short of wings etc..use elastic bands..insulation tape works well...Quest supply cured rabbit skins Regards Kev
  21. Does anyone know where Cannine Kennels actually buy their panels from??? Their must be a main supplier as I have found exactly the panels else where...They must be buying from a Trade supplier Regards Kev
  22. Fortunately we did not loose any money with Countrywide but they have left us really stuck..As while I am getting the base and new outside runs ready my dogs have moved in to the boarding kennels...and I have quite a few dogs. Countrywide had promised delivery just before Christamas...like that was ever going to happen?? I have contacted Canninekennels and Timberbuild off here....and Timberbuild have come up trumps and pulled all the stops out...Our new kennel block is 16M X 4M with a feed area etc..Timberbuild came up to suss the job out went over the plans and materials etc and came bac
