  1. I've had a gen 1 for a couple of years now, its been spot on and cycles everything, it jammed last week for the first time on a duff cart and I had to basically rip the thing apart to free it. I think the thing to do with hatsans is clean them after every outing and I don't mean a quick barrel wipe I mean the full works, hope you enjoy yours atb Roy
  2. Did you get a good deal at the sportsman, I'm looking to buy one possibly next weekend and trying to find the best price
  3. If he removes the mod I think the bang will mask any whizzing sounds he is trying to listen to.
  4. I thought the cz was cheaper in the package deal and I think I would prefer the cz
  5. There was a few bargains there, also a fair bit of theft I went to the walther stall to look at the new r8 air rifle but it was nicked as they were setting up
  6. I went to the midland yesterday with the intention of coming home with one of these, there was less gun dealers up there this year first I went straight to the Walther stand but unfortunately they had theirs nicked as they were setting up, I went around the corner and they had one at £375 but their card machine wouldn't work (a statement I would hear quite a few times during the day). Down a bit further they wanted £420 and I couldn't bring myself to part with the extra.
  7. I sold a r10 and downgraded to one of these about two years ago, it felt a bit agricultural at first but it has been used quite regularly, very accurate up to the r10 and not worried about damaging the stock, had a power issue in the first 6 months sorted under warranty straight away.
  8. How old is it do you know how many rounds have gone through it. atb Roy
  9. I will be going up with the family was a good show last year, sounds bigger and better this time
  10. I've been informed that its not worth putting down for a cf on my application even though I have reason to own one, also I was told a DSC1 was needed, I know its bullshit but you cant really start arguing with them before you have the ticket in your hands I have seen the resulting shit they put you through when you don't toe the line.
  11. If the weathers nice and you have nothing better to do its a good day out for the kids, if you want anything hunting related forget it you would be lucky to find a purse net there.
  12. Tresspass may be a civil offence but throwing stuff in his case food onto someone else's land is classed as fly tipping this is a criminal offence which carry's a heavy fine. As for shooting the foxes you say your friend has a open ticket as long as you have given him permission to shoot on your land, then be sensible and safe about it and shoot them flipping foxes.
  13. Pm me your number and we can see if we can have a deal.
  14. I got a 150 yard longnet needs top and bottom lines never been used, based in Bristol any good to you.
  15. A very good day, my dogs didn't get anywhere but winning the first prize in the raffle made up for it, the lurcher judge was good but the terrier judge was a dodgy looking fecker
  16. Yes I bought it, I had to spend some money on something as there wasn't much there, where was B&F this year also no plastic dog carriers. two hours drive to buy two books and a lead.
  17. Sounds like you had a good day, what boat do you fish on, I've been out of Exmouth a few times on Shande but never really done that good.
  18. Yes it was a good show, bumped into a fair few people I knew, only a flying visit as I was local, nice weather for it.
  19. I had to miss it last year but heard good things definitely going this year
  20. Beddy whippets were a lot bigger back then.
  21. There are a fair few working bedlingtons about, if you limit your knowledge to what you read on the internet forums then more fool you, a lot of people with genuine working dogs have no interest in chatting on the internet so they are out there just not on here. As Brock Dog has said the pup is for his kids and it comes from rabbiting parents, that in itself means they are being used in the field and have a hunting interest, I think he's made a good choice. atb Roy
