    I have mine done every year for two reasons 1. they need to be up to date for kennals if we go away 2. I insure my dogs and if you read the small print they will dump on you if the vacs are not up to date. The facts are the Jabs are made mostely in America and the manufactures recommend every five years to be on the safe side, someone put all the proper data on here about two years ago basically vets in this country are bending us over.

    Let them heal themselves if they are only little nicks and scratches, his own system will deal with it save the creams and biotics for when he really needs them.

    You cant just say which cross is best for deer, some dogs would do them some wouldn't, some would pull their first on their own without thinking about it others need to be shown the way by another dog, others will never attempt it from 20" whippet cross's to 30" deer/bull dogs the dogs got to have it in it in the first place, they are as individual as us and there are a lot of spewers. You pays your money and takes your chance.

    My missus must of bumped her head this year i unwrapped a copy of "of dogs and deer" so im sorted, I did get her a tablet though and not a cheap generic one a nurafen express caplet no less, she will need it after the kids and me finished whining, merry christmas to you all and a happy new year.

    My mate bought a cheap roesack at the midland gamefair which broke the first attempt at carrying a deer I patched it up and take that with me, just need to find some rabbits now

    Just saw a webley rebel for sale so googled it and apparentley its a sharp innova copy i used to have one of those and loved it, I dont really need any more guns but for the money I want one I dont come on this part of the forum much so if this has already done the rounds i apologize, but has anyone got one of these and if so what are they like. atb nasher

    Yes I use steel 4's & 5's and get on really well with it, been using it for the last two seasons keep the ranges sensible and it kills em no problem I had clean kills out to 45 yards this year.

    He wrote some good storys and if my memory serves me right i used to read his books while attending the local library with the school, those books especially the rat hunting ones started the ball rolling for me on all feildsports, So regardless of all the stuff wrote about him I will say thank you Mr Plummer RIP

    Fair play to you and obiously your situation demands it but f**k that, your inbox will be full with chancers who wouldnt pay for a pup will they be able to afford or even bother with the jabs. put a price on them got to be worth £100 each this will keep some of the idiots away.     You need to do your homework on this now anyone considering going for a cf calibre needs to write a very consise letter detailing your reasons and rights to own said calibre, make sure your letter contains no negative points as these will be used against you, make it clear in your application that you meet the requirements to own the calibre and have genuine reason to posses, police forces are now commonly quoting " Our forces policy".
