The local vet to me has just topped £70 for the initial twin injection, the yearly booster is now £43, I have another vet who will administer the same two vials for £20 cash with no paperwork or I can buy the 7in1 myself for a tenner, bit of a difference but do you think your dog is better protected because the vet has more money in his back pocket.

I am having a morning on the crows tomorrow then down beer for some boatfishing this should be a good weekend. -
If you get one that's up for it they can be very good, mine has a hell of a nose on him and will get in anywhere
-
Very nice looking pup, he's got a glint in his eye. This was mine at eight weeks. This is him about 18 months. Your pup could develop a good coat on him. You should have a lot of fun with him atb Roy

Patterdale Pups Just Born, Keeping One To Work.
nasher1 replied to PatterdaleRob's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Stock breaking is very important, other than that build a good bond with the pup, just get out with the pup you will be better off learning by your own mistake's rather than asking for advice from the experts on here. You could also look for some good books. -
I used to think using a sighthound dam to a smaller ie. terrier sire would produce taller animals, rather than using the terrier or smaller dog as the dam, it doesn't make the slightest difference.

These are the kennels I have nearly finished, keychannel drainage into the mains, GRP fiberglass roof, two coats of industrial grade floor paint. When I do the internal boxes I will do a framework of 2"x2" and put 50mm insulation in between the ply and a vapour barrier(this stops the mould).

I like Darcy's books and have quite a few of them, some of them were read in one sitting, then the missus got me "of dogs and deer" for xmas and paid silly money for it. I couldn't get into it and haven't finished it yet, I saw the latest book at the Welsh but couldn't quite get my hand in my pocket, I will wait and see what reviews the book gets first.

All country shows have been going downhill in the last decade but sometimes a days what you make of it and personally I would rather be at a sh*t country show catching up with people I know and with similar interests as me rather than sat in front of this computer typing this. atb nasher PS. I enjoyed it

AirArms do a heavy version of the field pellet I know somebody with a AA S410 running at 32ft Ib using these pellets and getting a very tight group at 70 yards, but every barrel is different so you will have to persevere with it.

Top Deal On Lamp And Lithium Direct From Cluson
nasher1 replied to Dewclaw69's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Glad you are pleased with your purchase but cluson's not for me, lightforce is a lot better and that battery wouldn't last too long on one of them. -

I have a first cross beddy/whip he's 21tts a very good dog but I think he would be better a couple of inches taller with a extra gear, I think if I could put him over a grey that would be the dog to have.

Small Lurchers On Deer Pre Ban !!!!
nasher1 replied to lurcherandterriemanchris's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Not fully with you on this one, fallow upwards then yes but most dogs pre-ban should have the job done by the time you get there, you get a few which don't get the hang of it and it turns into a screaming wrestling match but most of them seem to have a natural instinct to grab the right place and hold on, used to occasionally get a bit of damage from the front hooves if they ended up in a prone position, historically speaking of course.
