  2. I advertised these a while back all the dogs are gone but the three bitches are still here, they are from good working parents they are now 17 weeks old. this is the sire. Asking £200 for the pups based near Bristol. PM me for more details
  3. Must vary by region £55 in Bristol
  4. The local vet to me has just topped £70 for the initial twin injection, the yearly booster is now £43, I have another vet who will administer the same two vials for £20 cash with no paperwork or I can buy the 7in1 myself for a tenner, bit of a difference but do you think your dog is better protected because the vet has more money in his back pocket.
  5. This is my new pat pup Dexter from good breeding, so fingers crossed only time will tell.
  6. Just been looking on evilbay and there are a lot of people selling cheap fish finders has anyone on here used them and do they actually work, the one's I am talking about are the yellow one's about £25

  9. If you get one that's up for it they can be very good, mine has a hell of a nose on him and will get in anywhere
  10. Very nice looking pup, he's got a glint in his eye. This was mine at eight weeks. This is him about 18 months. Your pup could develop a good coat on him. You should have a lot of fun with him atb Roy
  11. Stock breaking is very important, other than that build a good bond with the pup, just get out with the pup you will be better off learning by your own mistake's rather than asking for advice from the experts on here. You could also look for some good books.
  12. I used to think using a sighthound dam to a smaller ie. terrier sire would produce taller animals, rather than using the terrier or smaller dog as the dam, it doesn't make the slightest difference.
  13. There are a few spare pups from two good dogs the sire is a patterdale and the dam is a pat/lakey. This is the sire. Dam These are a couple of the pups . I'm keeping a dog, at the moment there is two bitches and two dogs to go, dogs £200 bitches £250, the pups are near Bristol PM me for a number if you are interested. Forgot to add the pups were 6 weeks on Sunday 15/6/13
  14. These are the kennels I have nearly finished, keychannel drainage into the mains, GRP fiberglass roof, two coats of industrial grade floor paint. When I do the internal boxes I will do a framework of 2"x2" and put 50mm insulation in between the ply and a vapour barrier(this stops the mould).
  15. I like Darcy's books and have quite a few of them, some of them were read in one sitting, then the missus got me "of dogs and deer" for xmas and paid silly money for it. I couldn't get into it and haven't finished it yet, I saw the latest book at the Welsh but couldn't quite get my hand in my pocket, I will wait and see what reviews the book gets first.
  16. All country shows have been going downhill in the last decade but sometimes a days what you make of it and personally I would rather be at a sh*t country show catching up with people I know and with similar interests as me rather than sat in front of this computer typing this. atb nasher PS. I enjoyed it
  17. I know someone with a litter of blacks at the moment, for the spare pups he wants £250 a bitch and £200 for a dog, their from good parents and I've picked a dog myself.
  18. AirArms do a heavy version of the field pellet I know somebody with a AA S410 running at 32ft Ib using these pellets and getting a very tight group at 70 yards, but every barrel is different so you will have to persevere with it.
  19. Make sure whatever you buy fits you this is soo important when it comes to the business of actually hitting something with a shotgun, you will be wasting carts with a poor fitting gun
  20. Glad you are pleased with your purchase but cluson's not for me, lightforce is a lot better and that battery wouldn't last too long on one of them.
  21. Bit too much information for me to take in there bud, can you cut it down a bit and just put in Location, times things like that atb nasher
  22. A very good day, loads of dogs and people will definitely be going next year
  23. I have a first cross beddy/whip he's 21tts a very good dog but I think he would be better a couple of inches taller with a extra gear, I think if I could put him over a grey that would be the dog to have.
  24. Not fully with you on this one, fallow upwards then yes but most dogs pre-ban should have the job done by the time you get there, you get a few which don't get the hang of it and it turns into a screaming wrestling match but most of them seem to have a natural instinct to grab the right place and hold on, used to occasionally get a bit of damage from the front hooves if they ended up in a prone position, historically speaking of course.
