    Hi all ,have just got in from a dig which very nearly went badly wrong for me older bitch, have lost two chickens last night so thought i,d best get out back of me to have a look about for the marauder!my back garden backs onto farm land in the middle of the feilds is a big wide strip of marshland ,woods etc,theres quite a few earths in there too (very handy)we had a good 6 inches or so of snow in the night so went and checked all the usual places ,all empty or holding the other ,s..after a time of looking i cme across a new spot i,d not noticed before,well kicked out ,both dogs marking strong

    hi young un,you sound well happy an i dont blame ya pal,good on ya for sticking to it..and i,d give the other ferret his chance too mate...hemp nets are good but remember to hang them up when not in use else they could rot after getting wet eh...other than that crack on as experiance comes with practise kidda.... all the best mate and remember anything your not sure of then ask as am sure we,ll all be willing to help if we can..yis..darrell.

    had a 3quarter greyhound xquarter beardie collie dog 15 yrs ago now was or would of been one of the best dogs i,d owned ,he never reached his full potential after breaking his neck jumping a hedge after a roe (long time ago) on his death he was 22mths old having killed virtually all game there was to take except partridge!!!?? bloody goood dog...would i have another ...........yes i think i would ..all the best mate...yis..darrell.

    it.s sad fella,s but ho so true,i myself am dismayed at the so called patterdales i see advertised these days even here on the iow i see them !it seems that every black terrier type is a patterdale,sad,i know people that breed to shite,from shite pureley for the £££s nothing to do with working ability.am glad to say these people are not friends of mine as i keep myself and my dogs to myself ,i breed only for myself...keep the faith lads and keep your workers exactly that WORKERS..yis...darrell.
