my dad got me into the digging,used to wake me early hours to go poaching with him and his mates...was great..been digging since i was ten eleven am 40 come october...yis..darrell.

have smoke detectors stevie fella..and they work fine..seems it was a battery that exploded in me bag..both arthur carters people and debens been good as gold about it ..deben fixing the mark 3 altho they dont make the grey box anymore so dont think i,ll get that one sorted...but should be able to get out again shortlly when they send me locator back..all the best lads and dont leave the batteries in with ya locators eh. darrell.

cheers lads..it,s in the hands of deben now, arthur carters people were good about it, personally me thinks it was battery,but still shouldnt of happened...we over the shock now..although got no locator at all now as it burnt both the mark 3 and mark 1 ..so cant get outr as money,s tight so replacing them ,s not looking good as yet... atb lads..darrell.

not only did the locators suffer mate me jumper too not to mention the welsh dresser that it was all in damaged too fella..bloody fuming ,s not the half of it mate...will let ya know what they have to say tommorrow stevie..atb..darrell.

have been indoors ten minutes,went into kitchen having heard a popping sound there was a fire in welsh dresser cupboard were i keep my locators mark 1 and mark 3 the mark 3 had burst into flames??? dread tothink of what could of happened if we,d been out longer eh house burnt down etc.. has anyone one else had this happen with their locators .have only had the mark 3 since last october??any feed back as to what i can do about this would be cool lads /lasses.. am still bloody shaking as to what could of happened...cheers ..darrell.

could nt agree more Donny...sensible answer fella certain situations call for certain dogs..eventually the fellas going to have to dig..(certainty)so if i was you mate take some one who,ll help you to dig...as there,ll come a time when the quarry wont or cant bolt??atb..darrell.
