right then, found out that whilst the 8 foot coll.ar uses only one battery and the 15 uses two they are also DIFFERENT batteries so im going to get some of the 15 foot ones!!! currently using two of the 8 foot ones in mine
i took mine apart and fiddled with the two adjustable parts and did improve it so il try again with the new batts
Seasons over now. Start saving for a mk 3 magnetic for september. I have one they are dead on. Dont listen to all the complainers just set in their ways.
seasons over?? surely got a few weeks left? been getting them with young all through winter this year though.
might just take it apart and have a fiddle lol, sure i will figure it out!!! would be good even if i do get a shiny mk3 to have a back up locator!
lol, my 3 jills live indoors 24/7 and have a bath every couple of weeks with ferret shampoo from pets at home (lavender scented . they work a few times a week and bolt rabbits as well as anyone elses ferrets i know and touch wood i have never had to dig them out , only had to dig the rabbits that wont bolt out!!! they are just pampered pets when they are at home with the missus!!!! shes the sort that dresses em up and all that
Good point!
So for clarification how to tell the difference between
8' collor and 15' collar
8' locator and 15' locator
Just wondered as my locator has 8' on the wheel!
well my locator has 15 on the wheel and as far as i know ( according to the instructions with it) an 8 foot collar has one battery and the 15foot has two batteries. mine has two
i have the same problem, my mk1 only locates down to about 5 foot. mine is just silent if i am any further anyway. so 5 - 6 foot away reads at 15 on mine
any help out there?? cant find any info so far on it!!
it does seem good, like hemp but a lot thinner!! i suppose it is natural and so will rot??? does anyone know if it will rot quickly or whether it is ok if it gets left wet for a while??
hi, does anyone here use irish linen nets???
just got a 10 yard gate net made out of it, seems strong enough, all double knotted.
was just wondering what the qualities of it are?? i thought that people only use hemp or nylon??
thanks
