    been feedin my ferrets on j wellbeloved dry food all their lives (oldest are 11+years) with no ill effects so far. they have meat when i have spare game about. but i do agree they do turn their nose up at it!!! also mine dont seem to kill much at all underground. dont know if its related but it is useful. imo lol.... atb solo

    my dog is kept indoors, sleeps on the bed, comes to work with me and then goes out hunting with me. always by my side. makes for a strong bond i think. hes not soft either before ppl say it, he will run through anything lol

    i get frontline spot on for ferrets from the local pets at home. one spot on the back of the neck kills all fleas ticks and worms. cant remember how much it was but it was only a couple of quid for 3 sachets. hope it helps you. atb.

    i have a spare "indoors" hutch i use with its bottom floor made out of mesh which they do their business on and tbh it dosent drop through as you would imagine!!! it just gets stuch all round the mesh and so its harder to clean than a normal wooden floor atb

    my dog is fine in the house or garden with my ferrets but once he is out hunting whatever comes out of that hole is getting it!! he is even ok with them when they are on the grass inbetween sets but once they are under its a diff story so watch it because i thought mine would be fine but they aint

    Put simply the younger the better. Not over 55. And trade wise if u google short term and long term skill shortage they are the 2lists of trades they want. Luckily motorbike mechanic is on the immediate short term one :-)

    i am in the process of applying to emmigrate to new zealand and was wondering how many people who already live there work lurchers / sighthounds?? il be bringing my lurcher and want to keep working him. he loves hunting. what are the numbers like there and also the availability of permission and how easy is it to poach thanks

    i quite like the sound of the 18-200 cuz i will not always have a tripod so am thinking i will still be able to use it whereas a 70 - will need one all the time?? am i right in thinking this??

    anyone else out there?? me and ferret feller go out quite regular lamping and ferreting. could do with taking my dog out with a more experienced one.

    yeah i was looking at a sigma 55 200. they seem around the £100 mark so quite reasonable?

    hi, i have started using my nikon d50 with its 18 - 55mm lens and was wondering if anyone else had the same camera or similar and if they used telephoto lens??? im looking at buying one for wildlife shots. any idea what length?? was thinking 55 - 200 mm?? thanks, dave

    i use a free program called pic resizer. just open ur pics with it and slide the scale to how small you want the file to be.

    really?? i bought lr44 that everybody uses for their single battery mk1 collars and just put two into mine. also the instructions say to use lithium NOT alkaline batteries, anyone know the reason for this??

    can you eat pregga ones??? any reasons why you cant?? got a few on sunday only early on in their pregnancies. dont want to waste them so they are all skinned gutted just dont wanna add them to the pot if they taste strange lol!!!!
