  5. i wouldnt lamp in this weather but i walk my dogs off the lead and they run about just they know not to go flat out!! at least they still get out of breath and stay fit ish.
  6. big uns cant get in rat holes ;-) i like my little jills but wouldnt class them as micros. ferrets have been bred to this size at the moment after 2000 years so is everyone saying we have reached the perfect size?? or will people breed micros for ratting and normal ones for rabits lol??? like whippets and greyhounds as previously mentioned? i find my jills to be good because they can slip through rabbit nets unlike my big hobs but they are useful for moving on the jills if they kill under. just my thoughts ..... atb

  18. According to the "Ferrets for Dummies" book by Kim Schilling, no they cannot catch the common cold. They can, however, catch the flu, bacterial sinus infections, and upper-respiratory infections, all of which mimic cold-like symptoms. Either way, when you're sick, it's best to wash your hands before handling them and try not to sneeze or hack all over them robbed this off google.... everyone seems to disagree but it would appear they cant catch the common cold as it is species specific but flu, baceria and viruses are not. atb
  19. il be there saturday, its big. and they have pissed a lot of people off. but its a lot of things for a lot of people with loads of trade tents selling shit you dont want if youre a hunter but the old dears love looking round!!

  23. go out and dont use any nets, when the dog shows any interest put the ferrets in and it will get to chase the bolters. the dog will soon learn to mark for you. just dont praise him when he looks at a hole or he will "mark" every hole he comes across, the reward he gets is the rabbit to chase. atb
