If your getting at what I think you are true boxing fans don't really care about stuff like that I think you'll find almost everybody cares about that, boxing fan or otherwise. As soon as people hear allah akba these days, the main thoughts are, some muslim blowing himself up or beheading some innocent aid worker. The only reason British people would watch somebody like him now, would be in the hope he would get ironed out, back then it was just half of us hoping for it lol.

How can you tell, hardly a ripped up body builder look about him? Some of these THL experts that can tell if someone is juicing or not just by looking at pictures and videos of them should offer their services to the Olympic anti-doping agencies I'm no expert myself, but having an uncontrollable temper and being a big lump, is hardly conclusive evidence of steroid use

The producers of this show also did 'Immigration Street' , that was filmed in Southampton. South of Watford covers a big area, all of Devon, Cornwall, Summerset. Plenty of parts of Surrey and Berkshire are safe as anywhere. Talking Luton area to London Plymouth , B ristol ect are as far west as Hull is north I see where your going, there's a ring around London which is in the larger part awful. I don't mind getting a train into the West End for the evening, but I wouldn't give tuppence for the rest of it.

Not necessarily, but they were both rated higher by more people because they were different and exciting. A good solid alround pro like Barerra, would be considered boring for a lot of non boxing fans.

He could only fight one way and that way was successful against most boxers, but put him in with top class and he was not so difficult to hit. He was one dimensional in as much as if his only game plan did not work, he had nowhere else to go. He was lucky to catch Kevin Kelly and when his style was obviously not overcoming Barerra, even his trainer the great Emanuel Stewart could say nothing to him other than try and knock him out even if it means taking 4 for 1. Just watched the Barerra fight, Hamhead must have been well protected before this. A lot of good sound world class boxer fighters could have exposed him and his one dimensional style.

Think you summed it up there malt,he had a captivating voice, and he was damn sight less irratating than modern presenters, davina McCall and those gobshites ant & dec spring instantly to mind!
