What would be the best thing to do if one turned on you and you were a long way from the edge of the field. Would I be right in thinking it would be best to run at the cow waving arms and shouting?

I'm surprised to read that, when you look at the pictures on the web site, they are quite a grainy leather which I would associate more with a harder leather. But you've got them so you know.

I need a new pair of boots and was wondering what you guys would recommend. I just need them for country walks, starting with my holiday in Cornwall later this month, my present boots are only good for the allotment now. Idiots will let their dogs barking all day and never attempt to shut them up. I had a westie next door to me that would bark all day long. After trying to talk to my neighbour and failing to get anywhere, I one day waited for her to go out, the lifted the fence panel and gave the dog a good clout and shouting at. Every time I entered the garden after that, the dogs run straight through it's dog flap.

My fiancé wants to visit Eden Project and go to Rick Steins restuarant, could do them both on day trips. We want to take a bit of a tour of the county.

Shame I could have took you for a day with a choice of three foxhound packs. Anywhere in Cornwall is pretty good for cliff top walks. Do you want hotel, caravan, holiday cottage? I know several good places to stay all over the county, where do you fancy? Cheers, D. I quite fancy a B&B, not too far from a local pub, near the sea would be nice.

Even with your kneecap ripped off and a angry dog swinging off your head ? I can imagine the bloke picked up the Yorkie and the dog latched onto his knee. I have always thought before, that if a dog a big dog attacked my Bedlington in the street, I would chuck her over the nearest wall or fence. Then I would have the opportunity to defend myself, jump over a wall or run off. Anyway, the scumbag who owns the dog needs locking up.
