  2. I far as i know trespass is not a criminal offence, so in theory you can walk into anybodys house, sit and watch tv and that is not breaking any criminal laws. So if you caught by the police on land without permission then as long as your not carrying rabbits or any other game then you can not be arrested. Unless of course you want to stand there and tell the police what your doing!
  3. Welcome, nice strong looking dog mate :thumbs-up:
  4. There a real tidy looking cross lads, guess it's the border in them making them slow starters. I do like the borders mind, real clever little terriers.
  5. Has anyone owned or still own a border / lakeland, how were they as a cross and does anyone have pictures? Thanks people :thumbs-up:
  6. My friend had a alsation/labrador x greyhound it was much too big and heavy for all but fox and deer, before the ban. I never see any of his litter mates though. He crossed it with his whippet/greyhound and i had one of the pups, she was a very fast and smart dog, very easy to train. I think you could be taking a chance with that cross mate, could end up with someting very cloddy. I'll attach a picture of my old bitch.
  7. I've drank various beers all over the world including a 6p a pint ale squatting on a pavement in Vietnam, which was better than most of the stuff in the regular pubs there. The best beer was in the Czech Republic and the worst in Australia, Swan Light brewed in Perth was the most hideous piss i've ever tried, i'll be converting to wine when i move there next year. This they know how to make :thumbs-up:
  8. When i see that heading i thought you'd eaten too much chilli the night before
  9. This is my first cross Kelpie greyhound .................. he has been a very good dog for me to date Nice looking dog mate, have you had or been around collie/grays before, if so how do they compare? He's a fast looking first cross!
  10. Good luck with your line John, hopefully i'll be in the position to take one over to Perth, Australia next year.

  17. Hi Skippy, welcome aboard!
  18. They look a real credit to you mate
  19. Great to see them learning to course with each other, cracking pups
  20. Sorry to hear that mate, some real scum about and i hope the dog makes a full recovery, can knock it's confidence being hit by a car as you can imagine . Police can do f**k all about these type of low life but they can soon jump on you of you do there job for them, so you and your family be careful. I hope the scum get whats coming to them
  21. No allrounder she was a too big to go to ground, slightly shorter than a whippet, probably the same weight and deep in the chest. I used her for bushing and ratting, i never let her on a fox but i don't think she would have backed down because she never backed down to any dog whatever it's size. Bit of a scrapper when she was pushed but good with people especially kids. I always used my other dog for lamping.
  22. My Borderx Whippet was very easy to train, fast enough but i must admit not a great worker, maybe my fault due to me being young and the dog being a slow starter. I kept her anyway and she lived till she was 15.
