I'm sorry if I sound ignorant but I've been thinking about this one for some time.
Having never attended any type of organised hare coursing meeting such as the Waterloo Cup before the ban, I wondered how enough hares were found for the dogs to course.
Were they flushed into the general area of the meeting.
Did the meeting treck from field to field.
Were the hares bagged, which I would guess was unlikely.
I would appreciate it if anybody could throw some light on this for me.
Many Thanks
Shepp
How big a majority , the only way the act could ever be repealed would be with a mountain of pressure and a conservative government. It would still be a real tough one.
Poor little mite, one of these cases is one too many!
It's hardly surprising really that people jump to conclusions about certain breeds, the sad fact is most of these tragic cases do seem to be involving rotweilers and bull terriers. I would'nt own one if I had children.
Just my opinion but I guess I'll get a verbal lynching now.
Lies, damn lies and statistics, that's what this government uses to try and kid us that it's something more than completely incompetent.
A fall in crime is not what we see day in day out, they must think we're all idiots.
I have it delivered on subscription every week, i think it's just about worth the money but the old Shooting News was much better. I guess their treading on eggshells all the time since the ban.
Some anticles are a bit weak, a recent article about a womans whippet/bedlington really did cross the line into anthropomorphic silly bollocks land.
Looking at the advert with no mention of working ability, I would guess that the dog must be known for throwing pretty looking lurchers.
Well if that is so and people are stupid enough to pay the guy 500 quid then I can only say that many lurchers will go the same way as most of the kennel club shite.
